WASHINGTON (CNNMoney) -- Even with the same president, the United States will have a new Treasury Secretary. Tim Geithner, the last holdover from President Obama's original economic team, has indicated he's ready to leave after four tumultuous years. With Obama's victory, Geithner is expected to resign soon, but Treasury officials are mum on the details.

There is going to be more economic hurt than most people can imagine. The markets will drop. Businesses that can will move off shore and others will downsize or down while start ups will be few and far between.
As gas gets to $6.00 and the cost of groceries soar people are going to have to learn to make sever adjustments to the lives we have enjoyed.
Learn what it takes to protect yourself. Make a mental note of the people you know who helped this happen.
