I mean, it bribe them to memorise these principles. That big thing they want for Christmas, say they can't have it unless they can repet this from memory..HA..."How To Grow Up"--- 1. Become financially independent. 2. Become emotionally independent. 3. Stop being selfish 4. Stop being a doormat 5. Realize that life isn't fair. 6. Mean what you say and say what you mean. 7. Treat people with respect. . 8. Take responsibility for yourself. 9. Plan for the future of your parents/siblings.

Good luck with that. Most young people are extremely lucky if they can make the ends meet for their own livelihood, much less save anything for the future. The parents and siblings are going to be on their own.
