That's not a given. Of all her detractors, women by far are the largest and most vocal group. I personally think it is because they resent a successful conservative woman, who isn't at all hard on the eyes.

Who would want to lead this nation of morons? Let them pay for all those “freebies” the government is putting on their grandchildren’s credit. Sarah can live the good life in AK, far from the maddening crowd.

The "wimmin" that voted for Obama did so in order to elect the government as a provider in lieu of a husband.
They won't get that from Palin and they know it.

I really like Sarah, always have, but I don’t think she wants to run for anything, nor do I think she could get elected. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law, both conservatives, used to love her and now they can’t stand her. They’re both really beautiful women, so it can’t be jealousy.....I’m mystified as to what it is. But I think Sarah’s a dead end.
Actually, I think the dead end might be hard to overcome with anyone. The nation is becoming increasingly brown and increasingly liberal/entitlement-hungry. But I guess that’s a subject for another thread.

Women do not relate to Palin. She’s as loopy as Biden. In fact, women voted against McCain because of Palin.
