Vanity: So....can Obama be impeached for Benghazigate now?

Posted on 11/07/2012 1:41:31 AM PST by texaschick

Seeing how he's staying in office I wonder how far this will go now. Or will his "investigation" lead to no where, much like his other promises.

Watergate began before the election and continued. But it and F&F will continue to be marginalized by the Pravda media. 54 million Americans just voted to approve Obama’s actions in both situation. So does Congress care?

You need to have a GOP with a pair and we don’t. As much as I would like that to happen, I don’t see it happening. Issa would go for it but not have any support and the issue would fizzle away.

I really don't want to say this but, I think he's totally protected and insulated and we should consider all worst-case scenerios.

Just my opinion.

Perhaps if it is suggested on a golf ball or Merlot bottle. Maybe on the lid of his tanning bed.

NO.

Yes he can be impeached and should be. Unfortunately since we did not get the majority in the Senate he will not be removed from office

It doesn’t make any difference.

The House could impeach him with an unanimous vote and the Senate would still give him a free pass.

He’s untouchable.

No way. The proletariat just installed him for another 4 years. You’d need the media to drive the process. Obama knew if he just made it past the election, no one would dare touch him. Now it’s just a matter of waiting to see how the economic collapse works out and/or the next 9-11 transpires. The decline seems to be accelerating. I wonder how it felt to live in the ‘30’s. This creeping sense of impending disaster.

How is he going to be impeached????

Seriously, it’s over babe.

Ignore this lizard and get ready for 2014 and 2016.

He’s going to install two Supreme’s, Make Energy “Necessarily prohibitive to the point of bankrupting the infrastructure”, etc, etc, etc....

America needed an enema and they are going to eat a huge Shit Sandwich before they blow....

Before that, I am going to immunize myself from this malarky by making butt loads of cash.

If America is going to become a land of looters then I want a buffer, so I can throw away a bar of soap after I wear the letters off it....

The House of Representatives may care. Part of the voting American public may care. But the media does not, or at least resists any effort to publicize any of these despicable acts, and any action brought in the House would surely NEVER be considered in the highly polarized and partisan Senate.

The fix is in. The Chicago Way prevails. It protected Al Capone for years, at least until he made a mistake on his income taxes. Capone never was prosecuted for his reign of murder, bootlegging, and influence buying that made Chicago the synonym for criminal excess throughout the world.

We still may have the House to impeach but the Repub leadership does not have the stones to do it and also the Senate to convict.

They are they same GOPe old guard that just lost us the Presidential election and the Senate. They do not care.

If the country goes down, and it will, they think because they are in the position they are in now, and with their money acquired while in office, they will be immune from the leftist purges that will follow soon. They are the useful idiots Lenin talked about and they will be the first, along with the Press and much of Hollywood to be eliminated by the Communist regime.

The current GOP has deliberately destroyed the last hope for our Nation by forcing a worthless, toothless, liberal on us as the now defeated GOP Presidential candidate. They did this to try to eviscerate the Tea Party and the true conservative base of the GOP and the nation. They are too stupid to understand the consequences...yet.

“We’re in this mess precisely because people were worried what it would “sound like”.”

We’re in this mess because Americans want liberalism. They want their bennies, bailouts, big bird, birth control and ‘bortions. That’s what is close and real to them. We talk about the future, the impact of the debt and hostilities in countries that most Americans can’t find on a map. It’s too abstract for most people.

That was part of the problem though. Instead of concentrating on Obamacare and O’s out of control govt, day after day for almost two months straight most of our time was spent talking about Libya. Huge mistake. No one cares about Libya.
Think about it. We lost the election. Now, move on to something else... like our domestic issues.

No. If the American people just voted him 4 more years, there is nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, he can do that the Democrats will see as an impeachable offense. Too bad, so sad, that more Border agents, Ambassadors, and people associated with our military have to needlessly die while the nation lumbers towards the Progressive Socialist Utopia the rest of us detest so badly.

Good point. Obama is now unfettered. We will soon see Hugo Chavez II and his cadres in the US. Obama won't be impeached over Benghazi or anything else and anyone, including the family members of those killed in Benghazi who become too troublesome, will be silenced.

Every secretary of state in this country was informed by Attorney Larry Klayman that the Hawaii state registrar had confirmed that Obama’s HI BC is legally non-valid and that the White House image is a forgery. Every SOS in the country knows that the Official Certification of Nomination for BArack Obama was both perjurious and fraudulent. They refused to do anything about it, because they were afraid of what people would think, afraid of being called “political” or of being a “birther”. Obama has been elected twice now because of crimes that law enforcement refused to prosecute. Without those crimes and a complicit system, Obama would not even have been on the ballot.

When you sleep with a dog you wake up with fleas. “Conservatives” were willing to ignore the evidence and sleep with lawlessness rather than be called “birthers”, and that same lawlessness and facts-be-damned attitude is what has enabled all the lawlessness that Obama and his puppet-masters are doing.

You’re right about the American people. They’ve sold their birthright for a bowl of soup. They are about to be spat out.

But not before each elected official who took an oath to defend the US Constitution goes on the record as either keeping that oath or betraying America to her death. God will do the sorting out after that, but this is one cup that will not pass until each of these elected officials drinks from it. So far every state SOS has betrayed America; God has duly noted that for the day of reckoning, which will surely come and very likely soon.

In that day, all the stuff you listed will mean nothing, even to this stiff-necked, stubborn people. You left out one big “b” word, which the people did not know they were going to get: burquas. They will all wish they were dead before this is over.

Sure the House could bring impeachment charges, but you would need a majority of the Senators to convict and toss him out. The Democrats are the majority in the Senate and would not vote to do that. The media is on the Democrats and Obama’s side and they’d crucify anyone who even proposed it.

Cart before the horse. Our side should not mention impeachment. First things first. We need a public accounting of the facts. We already know enough facts that warrant impeachment but it needs to be officially documented for the public record in a clear inrefutable way. Sure the MSM will spin it. So we

need an effective way of going around the MSM on libya and how the liberals are screwing them. Need to get this info exposed via blogs, youtube and facebook. But more importantly we need some brave public officials and celebrities to step up and take some risks. We need min 5-10 congressmen demanding resignations. Not sure we have even one right.

True. But there was the election hanging over the whole thing. Now that that is removed there is the opportunity to push our reps to hold hearings. I am not even talking impeachment yet. I would at least like to have full hearings and get this stuff on the record. If enough is successfully exposed publicly then we could push for impeachment. He would never be removed from office by the senate but that is no reason to not try and get this mess exposed.
