I'm stepping out of the circular firing squad... (vanity)
Me

Posted on 11/07/2012 12:46:11 AM PST by MacMattico

You know what? We lost the Presidency by 1% and the Senate by a little more. Allen West and Mia Love lost, but I'm not going to be part of the "blame Mitt" crowd that two days ago thought he was great. And if you couldn't vote for the "moderate Mormon" then pat yourself on the back-- you didn't vote for the loser. But you helped the communist thug to stay in charge and run wild.

With that said, we need to stop blaming each other and separating our party and unite against the true villains-- a viscous, lying Chicago thug machine that painted it's opponent as a killer of women who cares about no one, we need to tell Bill Clinton to shut the hell up and WE should have called him out when he was Obozo's outreach to the women's vote. Of course he's all for free birth control, the rapist! We need to blame the media-- how can you win with 24/7 news coverage painting your candidates as psychos? When your opponent promises most of the electorate free stuff? It's time to get up, dust ourselves off, and fight back. Reach out to legal Latinos and blacks and show them what real conservatism is-- they have no idea, they've been fed lies their whole life. Organize our youth -- there are many proud, smart, young conservatives out there. We need to rebuild a conservative movement, but not at the cost of picking each other off one by one. We'll just lose by more next time.

I guess I've calmed down a little. I am so disappointed in the American people. I really think most have just been dumbed down so much. We need to build people up without Government, educate them on economics and freedom, and the logical conclusion is a conservative majority will emerge. The fact that the election was this close when is was R vs D, the msm, outright lies, fraud and stupidity tells me we have a chance for the future if we can hold on for these next four years, and get out guys into the Senate come mid-terms. We need superior organization, ground game and to stand up for what we believe in -- no more wishey--washey crap. Let's roll!

There is nothing left to do, it is over.

The Democrats have rebuilt their New Deal coalition and it will take at least another decade to crack it.

Right.

Now we can get back to the hard work of reaching across the aisle to help the libs raise taxes and banish freedom.

Aren’t we all happy? :)

agreed; I’m sick and tired of working for, donating to, and voting for a party that cannot field a candidate that has the intestinal fortitude to stand up for something. Mitt had a hundred chances to body slam the commie thug, and chose not to. I’m writing him for a refund.

Until you attack the root of the failure, the GOP-e, you will be "coming together" behind another RINO in 2016, holding your nose and pulling the level again.

Ready for that? If not, then don't "come together". Force the GOP to go Conservative or leave it. No more lesser of two evils. I mean LEAVE IT.

If there is no Conservative on the ballot, don't vote that line. Period.

What we need is first to stop with the whole ‘consensus candidate’ crap the RINOs keep diving us into. We need to knock those RINOs out of the party leadership, and re-order the primary process to favor a path that rewards conservatives and weeds out the liberals.

Second, we actually need the House to stop shooting this nation in the back of the head. No dollar gets spent in Washington without the approval of the House, and they are the ones operating without a budget, and giving signed blank trillion dollar checks to the president.

Finally, we have to end the fricking gravy train of public service. No more six figure retirements, no more benefits to anyone elected or appointed to their position, and especially, no retirement benefits for someone who can be voted out of office, or dismissed when a new politician steps in.

It is our own party who continues to sabotage each election and the economy, and we must put a stop to it.

Takers > Producers. The US has gone over the cliff. Every person for themselves and survival of the fittest. The Taker’s won’t survive. Pigs being lead to slaughter.

I still don’t understand how so many experts thought that the Republicans had a really good chance, and almost all of the close races were lost. Can someone explain that?

I’m not even blaming Obama, he just who he is.

It is the American people.
The tipping point has arrived. We had a good enough candidate. The issues that he we lost on are as follows.

30 year or more of the government teacher’s union brainwashing our children who are now voting.
47 million people on food stamps and other things that want to vote a government party in that gives them more of this stuff.
Lucrative government union jobs that have grown by leaps and bounds to the point of 1-9 working for the government now. They and people they know are going to vote for the government party.
Females who want social safety nets for everything under the sun.

You add it up and IMO even Ronald Reagan would have had a tough time winning. He couldn’t even get elected governor now in California.

Our electorate has changed.
IMO we are now going to accelerate the national crash, but people are going to want to take all the way down to the crash and burn.

Will they learn, will their pride ever let them admit mistakes? I doubt it.

I’m not shooting anyone or myself in any circle, but IMO we are watching the end of what was America the way Rome once was watching their own decline. We are fading, and being unable to remove a very bad President who has done bad things because he gives so many people stuff is the sign of our downfall.

Don’t tell it to conservatives. Tell that to the RINO’s who are even now braying that it was Limbaugh, right wing bible thumpers and who knows what else, that cost the election.

We gave their candidate a shot, again, with the worst President in American history and he managed to lose.

Now watch as RINO’s bow down to the Obama agenda... I’m sorry they already did that when Beohner said Obamacare would be funded.

‘settled law’ ya know?

Where did I say reach across the aisle? I said we as conservatives need to come up with bold conservative plans, solutions, ways to educate those on what conservatism really is, and create campaign techniques and get out the vote efforts so this doesn’t happen again!

“We need to blame the media”
****************************************
That is exactly where my husband is hanging the blame. He sent me out of my skin before we lost. I was tending my chili and he had come in the kitchen and pounded the counter, it’s the media that caused this! Gads did I jump!

They fielded a candidate that should have won.

I think you are not facing the truth that we have reached that point where the takers way outvote the makers and probably Reagan could have lost tonight against this Obama that gives everything to people through deficit.
