<VANITY> Before the price explosion (gun help)
Self | 11/7/2012 | Self

Thoughts between a couple weapons before prices explode:

M-10 AK, or

Bushmaster CAR15 223 16 BSH REDDOT

TOPICS: Chit/Chat; Conspiracy; Military/Veterans
KEYWORDS: ak47; ar15
Any suggestions between these two, or something comparible in the same price range?

I’d probably go for the AR15 and some Glock pistols. I qualified as an expert on the M16A2 so I’m more than familiar with the platform and that’s why I tend to stick with it. Glocks are the best combat sidearms available and their price is extremely reasonable especially considering that they’re the best combat sidearm you can get.

Shotgun and lots of shells. Unless you live on a large property, then probably a good rifle in .308 with a scope and a bunch of boxes of match-grade. Either way, you can only fire one weapon at a time, but you’ll still need lots of rounds for whatever you get.

At this point, I’d buy whatever you can on the cheap and put your money towards a secret room to hide them in before the regime can grab them. The quality of the weapon might not be as important has hiding the weapon.

Shotgun, check. Hi-point .45ACP carbine and handgun, check (work great and share mags). Looking for something now with some range.

The gun industry is celebrating tonight. BUT.. how is Ozero
going to grab them? We still have the house. They are NOT
going to agree to EVER pass any laws allowing the Feds to
confiscate. At least not this current house. Whatever happens
in 2014 is anybody’s guess.

Who needs legislation? A packed federal judiciary and an executive order will be all takes. Maybe a UN treaty. The house can't do anything because the Dems control the Senate.

How do you live, are you urban where you need to rapidly engage multiple targets in your yard, or in the country where you need to do the same at 500 yards?

I’m not trying to be contrary for the sake of it, but I don’t
think a confiscate regulation could occur with an executive
order. And I believe that it takes a two thirds majority of
the Senate to ratify a UN treaty.

So BOTH of those scenarios seem a little implausible.

Did you think amnesty for dependents of illegal alien residents could happen with an executive order?

Even if a treaty has something about guns, the constitution is above that and that part of the treaty is null abd void.

Private gun ownership will be banned by 2016. All will be turned into Government—as will all private gold.

Make sure your AR is chambered for the 5.56 round and not just for the 223.

If chambered for the 5.56 it will shoot both.

If chambered for 223, you will be limited to only shooting the civilian 223 ammo.

You really think the Obama appointed judges are going to care what the constitution says? Heh. That's cute.

I didn’t say that. I said what I said and it’s correct. Whether Obama judges recognize it is an entirely different matter.
