Mitt Romney and Bret Farve Can Share Stories

Posted on 11/06/2012 10:46:13 PM PST by klimeckg

When Bret Farve was QB for Minnesota in the Superbowl, all he had to do was take a knee and burn out the clock, but No, he made a choice and he lost due to his choice. Mr. Romney, the same, instead he played it safe and took a knee and decided to burn out the clock when he should have gone after Obama in debate 3 on Beghazi. This we a mistake and the The Lord set sandy and all is history. So, it's no ones fault but Romney's and being the person that he campaigned as, I am sure he is in a lot of pain right now. Sorry Mr. Romney, you tried and your were out smarted by the Chicago machine that does not play by rules. I am sure Bret Farve can share with a story or two.

We cannot blame Romney for this.

We have to blame the people who voted for Obama.

They voted for recession, death panels, energy deprivation, higher taxes, they voted for the destruction of America.

Coulda, woulda, and shoulda. I think the results would be the same. The deck was stacked and America has obviously changed far beyond our imagination or ability to comprehend. You and I see an America with liberty and opportunity where hard work will be rewarded and the rule of law is sacred.

They see a nation divided into demographics that are only conncerned about what’s in it for them. They are the party of the happy meal... yeah it costs more in the end, but that toy is so cool and irresistable.

I don’t know, klimeckg, much as I want to agree with that assessment, it became clear to me in recent days that almost no one knows what happened there or even that anything at all happened anywhere.

I saw another person looking directly at fox news as evidence of the emails requesting help but denied were being reported, and this person refused to even watch or listen even though looking directly at it while reading the ticker underneath.

I can only say that people know what they want to know, see what they want to see, and hear what they want to hear. Everything else simply doesn’t exist.

Favre never played for Minnesota in the Super Bowl. They lost to the Saints in the NFC championship. And he never had a situation where he could have taken a knee. He did go out fighting, on a bad ankle.

I blame the perfect storm and the fat bastrd in New Jersey and Colon Powell.
To me the Colon Powell ad was the most effective ad for either candidate.
If Colon did the same for Romney he would be president tonight.

He was more aggressive than McCain for sure but that’s not saying much. I was blasted in the Summer for saying that Romney was running a prevent defense campaign -— trying not to lose a winnable race.

All of the bias national media, zombie voters and campaign shenanigans are no excuses because those unfortunately are a giving no matter who was the nominee, and if one no can overcome with an economy this bad then we need to just shut the whole thing down and go home

Minnesota didn’t make it to the Super Bowl when Bret Favre was QB. They last went in 1977.

I dont agree about Benghazi per se, but I DO think Romney hurt himself earlier on in the summer.
He Should have been far more agressive early one both defending himself and outlining why Obama was RESPONSIBLE for the weak economy.

See, Romney was going around mentioning the weak economy. Sure, its all true and valid.

But Obama and Clinton shot back “Well it was not our fault, it was really bad and its getting better....”

Well, Romney needed to shoot that full of holes.
He did an awesome job in debate #1 doing that, but did NOT consistently make it his campaign.

More hammer-and-tong would have helped.

And had a bounty on his head we now know. As for election, look at the map. Not much changed in 4 years so that tells me what America wants. What to do about it? I don’t know. Accept it?? NO WAY. May just have to keep working local, let the Feds know in no uncertain terms you will leave my state alone, and keep trying to teach even when no one is listening. We are a divided nation and freedom loving Americans are a bit on the short end. Maybe we can catch a break in the next 2 to 4 years of some kind. Keep praying regardless of the faithless on this website and look to be proactive. We fail our ancestors, our founding forefathers and the saints of the past if we ever give up. When we do we are just like the 47 percent or 49.8 it appears tonight. Sleep on it and get ready for tomorrow.

Romney’s came to the US as Mormon converts before the Us Civil War. Not one has ever worn any uniform nor fought for the country. They did flee the country once to Mexico, but then fled Mexico when it looked as if they might have had to fight then. None of Mitt’s 5 strapping so sons enlisted post 9/11. Not Mitt, his son ever played HS/college football, or hockey.
Romney’s don’t fight. They go to Harvard and do arbitrage.
So, basically we had a Iberia white, Mormon, financial stiff, that even in the GOP wouldn’t take a stand, that flip flopped worse than John Kerry.

I don’t see why a tagged, hip hop, pot/crack/Meth/booze drinking, EBT,SNAP, darker, Latin, gooberment edjamakatef, Jay-Z didn’t feel the love to our stiff, sort of squishy Obamacare-lite RINO financialist.

Well, Mitt can unlock his trusts and the Romney’s can figure out what son is to make the third generation try to be the first Mormon in the WH.
The GOP can continue to search for the next, tone deff socialist lite, bank loving, Federal Reserve loving, welfare/warfare big gov loving hack.

Not Romney’s fault. He did pretty well.

It’s the voters. More of them than us plain and simple.

That or fraud in some swing states.

Can't blame Romney. His campaign was fantastic; as good as we could've hoped.

It just happened more Americans decided to give the first black president a second chance.

In the absence of monumental scandal, NOTHING could overcome that. That's my view. Also, "Bush's fault!"

It didn't help we had some idiots giving life to the "war on women" talking-point in the form of Mourdock and Akin. We can thank Rush for kicking that off with his Sandra Fluke flap.
