Libtard Gary Johnson Cost Romney FL and OH

That's laughable. Better to say "GOP authoritarianism which embraces the Tyrannical Drug War, contraband law, and Prohibition" cost Romney FL and OH.

ROMNEY cost ROMNEY FL and OHIO.

Romney is half socialist himself, and there was simply not enough to distinguish him from 0bama, as hard as that is to stomach.

Gingrich or Palin could have stoked the TEA party enthusiasm, and given us a better chance.

IMHO, Palin made a HUGE miscalculation by sitting out this election cycle. After that happened, Gingrich was probably the best chance.

When the GOP runs a true conservative, instead of the virtual architect of 0bamacare (Romney) then they might have a chance at the White House.

By the way, how is that antagonism of libertarians working out for the GOP?

Not to good.

Wouldn't it be neat of the authoritarian GOP could get its head out of its ass with respect to the non-conservative and Tyrannical Drug War, Prohibition, contraband law and the like?

Those few precious percentage points which the GOP needlessly lost by antagonizing marijuana smokers, etc. might have come in real handy.

The GOP is simply reaping what it has sown. Instead of convincing staunchly anti-socialist libertarians to join their ranks, conservatives who disagree with them are content just to demonize and alienate them.

Well done.

PALIN 2016!!!

Scapegoat away. The RNC’s New Deal Republican Romney lost when it should have been EASY EASY EASY.

Recognizing the problem is the first step to solving the problem.

“We have seen Moderates can’t win.”

Not true. We have seen that a candidate painted as an extreme conservative can’t win.

Maybe... just maybe it’s time to start rethinking the SOCIAL platform, which really has no place in politics if we truly believe in limited government.

John Kasich and Senate bill 5 seriously undermined Mitt Romney in Ohio.

Never once head that mentioned by any of the pundits over the last several months. Self delusion on our part

God sent a hurricane to screw up the GOP convention. Harry Reid was in a car accident and unharmed. Then He sent Sandy. I don’t think He was on our side. If He cares at all. And He probably doesn’t.

The problem is the voters.

Exactly. Willful ignorance, gullibility and the dependency/entitlement mindset is potent in today's electorate. Very simple to understand. Different times we live in, my FRiends.

O won Ohio by 85K votes. Johnson had about 45K, presumably “taken” from Romney. Jill Stein (Green) had 15K, presumably taken from O.

Florida- O by 58K, Johnson 42K, Stein 8K.

So your point is what exactly?

Stop blaming libertarians for the failure of your lame-assed candidate.

You’re all mediocre. You should all refrain from voting. Let the elite run things. There has been an inexorable expansion of who is entitled to vote. Every time it has been expanded, the country has suffered. Take the vote from 18 - 20 year olds, and things would be better. Take the vote from women, and things would be better. Take the vote from those without property, and things would be better.

But it can’t happen. We’ll have to perform the phoenix maneuver. This country is lost.

To the RNC who failed when they should have won by 20% Congratulations!

To the RINOs that will not withhold funding for Obamacare Congratulations!

To RINO judge “it’s not a tax it’s a tax” Roberts, Congratulations.

RINOs blame others for their own failure. They’re not worth the time of day.

The pundits get paid to mention some things and fail to mention other things because the truth isn’t always helpful. SB5 was incredibly unpopular in Ohio. Kasich squandered the bulk of his political capital on that legislation and was then rebuked by the vast majority of the state for it. I don’t expect him to be reelected because of it in fact, not unless the Ohio economy seriously takes off which is pretty doubtful.

” Romney is half socialist himself, and there was simply not enough to distinguish him from 0bama, as hard as that is to stomach.”

Not so simple because there were problems with his other half.
How would you defend being against the auto bailout and unions and expect to win Ohio?
Do you support Romney’s remark about the 47%? Many libertarians probably thought he was with them when he said that...but it is a toxic thing to say.
If you are so libertarian that you’d be against FEMA, how would you respond to Sandy?

Mitt Romney cost Mitt Romney in Florida and Ohio. Another Massachusetts RINO went down in flames. Big shock.

I call baloney on that. Romney was ahead in Ohio in some polls, its not like it was an inevitable loss. The margin btw is super tight 1%. As noted Libertarian vote was > margin of victory.

Auto bailout politics as used as well as ‘war on women’.
Folks like Akin were used by Democrats as a distraction from the economy, and then when economy came up, they’d blame Bush.

Romney needed more than just the economy to win Ohio.

A brawler needed indeed. The GOP always are the gentleman who pull out a chair for a lady at the table.

The dems are those who pull out chairs from where you were going to sit so you fall on your arse.

At what point will we get tired of that old joke and thinking they will not prank us again?

No, Romney, and his supporters in the GOP-E, cost Romney the election.

He decided to run to the center, embracing Abortion and the Gay Agenda and never offered a clear limited government message.

Romney has no-one to blame but himself.

A real Republican would have won this election easily.

Romney is nothing but a Pretend Republican.

But, when the chips were down, we needed a brawler.

McCain and Romney are simply too nice. You can't win against Obama if you are too nice. When will the GOP ever learn??

Why would God smile on us and our candidate when he supports the murdering of unborn children and the abomination that is the Gay Agenda?

“Not true. We have seen that a candidate painted as an extreme conservative can’t win.”

Correct.

The platform of being prolife is fine, essential in fact, but it needs to be presented well. The ‘war on women’ was total garbage.
