Is This Election Being Stolen?
Vanity | 11/6/12 | JoeA

Posted on 11/06/2012 7:41:06 PM PST by JoeA

Things don’t look good for Romney, as of this writing. His path to victory is narrow, and the results are not breaking in his favor. All this news flies in the face of the obvious signs of the past two weeks, that Romney was clearly winning, that Obama knew it, as did all the insiders. The huge rallies for the challenger easily dwarfed Obama’s. Romney and Ryan were confident on the stump, Obama and Biden strident and error prone. Polling showed dissatisfaction with the country’s direction, and Obama’s alleged charm had even worn off women. The all important independent vote was now in Romney’s camp, and by a large margin. The polls all had Romney ahead by large margins, or even. Republican pollsters were confident, Democrats defensive.

If all this was true, then what went wrong? Or, if nothing went wrong, then has this election been stolen?

I wish I could agree with you, and that some independent audits would reveal tampering in about 15 states. Unfortunately, what has been tampered with is the minds of the electorate. How the hell did abortion, let alone contraception, become issues all of a sudden? An illiterate electorate and a dishonest, fawning media are just too much to overcome.

I do believe that there were some irregularities—some illegals voting, some double or triple voting, some republican ballots accidentally misplaced, etc. But the overall message is that this country is headed to hell in a handbasket and there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot that we patriots can do about it. I’m pretty sure I didn’t spend 1970-74 in the United States Air Force to make the country safe for Obamacare, but I guess I did.

Of course Christie slobbering over Obama did not affect my vote or your
Vote. But it probably turned a few percent of independents in the final days.
You know, the kind of people that change with the wind. And the last wind
Just happened to be the Storm, not Bengazi.

Stop.... you’re ridiculous.... What about Wisconsin... VP form Wisc on the ticket... a very popular former governor running for US Senate in Wisc, a Rep. Gov that survived a recall, and the RNC chairman from Wisc... and they couldn’t carry the state?? Are you kidding? These 1200, 1500, 2000 voter samples doesnt mean anything....polls are crap. Or maybe blame the 35 million that voted for Obama... you think that Christi and Sandy effected 35 million voters... grow up.... I said this a while back, and was crucified on this site... the fact is, we could have been running Jesus Christ himself, but the overwhelming majority of Americans are ether too stupid, don’t care or what the USA to be a 3rd rate, socialist republic, owned in part by China. The next 50 to 60 years of this nation will be the worst in the history of western civilization.

Protests wouldn’t solve anything. Nothing will stop this except revolution or secession.

“Romney and Ryan were confident on the stump, Obama and Biden strident and error prone”

Romney has to be confident just to have a chance. Obama can afford to make as many mistakes as he wants because when his voters want their bennies, they don’t care what he says as long as they get their check in the end. It’s always harder to be the no bennies party because it requires abstract thought to turn away bennies now for a better future.

How can we ever win with the STATE controlled Mainstream Media against us? This is bad news in the long run. Even if Mitt wins, the country is turning too blue, and will eventually fall to the socialist pigs.

If the result goes the wrong direction, we should now have an opportunity to do what was done to Nixon’s second term, namely forcefully having the military go after him on Benghazi-Gate through an Honduras event. As well as by Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s investigation!

Do we need Harry Reid to participate?

Yes, it is.

Start posting pictures of the crowds that came out to support each. Nothing has changed to dampen the Tea Party since the mid-terms.

And yes, I believe, like everything about BHO, it’s all a lie and a fraud. So help me God.

When we focus upon the wrong fault we miss any chance to fix the rot. The media has herded Americans into their own doom. When the chaos these bastards have fabricated hits, I’m goin’ hunting. I no longer hate democrats, they’re too stupid to realize how they’ve been herded. I hate the media who have enabled and aided and abetted the destruction of America.

No, this was not unexpected. Many times I posted about how party ID is fluid and pollsters know this and how Gallup and Rasmussen were screwing with those numbers when they had no business doing that:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/2955102/posts?page=163#163

I also warned that Drudge was cherry picking the data and was starting to look like Baghdad Bob because instead of objectively embracing social science fundamentals, he was trying to get page views and was not to be taken seriously. I also said the margins were just too wide in PA, WI, MI, OH and NV for Romney to make any inroads there, it was too late:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/2955102/posts?page=137#137

Also, unskewed polls was a joke and no one had any business listening to a crank with no solid education in statistics and political science. He was playing to a wishful thinking audience and was no different than a palm reader BSing someone down on their luck:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2955525/posts?page=24#24

Lastly, I warned that Michael Barone was relying on historical precidents without integrating actual data into his opinion and was therefore a snake oil salesman:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/2955102/posts?page=150#150

I was soundly ridiculed for removing my emotions from the situation and looking at reality. This wasn’t the first time this has happened...been here over 8 years and every election cycle, I get called a liberal troll even though I’ve been a solid conservative, slightly moderate admittedly, but a conservative nonetheless that says we need more pragmatism in the party to win. And not Mitt Romney pragmatism. We need Nixon, Reagan, and HW Bush pragmatists people that will compromise 20% of their agenda to get the other 80%.

The country is changing demographically VERY fast. We get pragmatic or we get used to these results.

the reason the race was even close was because racist blacks voted, think about this, do you or anyone think if obama was white these millions of blacks would have voted.

racism is alive and well with most blacks but the white guilt idiots backed him up

And the only media that had Obama winning had democrats wildly oversampled,

Oh good grief, those polls that you (and others) are saying "wildly oversampled" Democrats are turning out to be right. Obama is winning pretty much everywhere those state polls said he would.

Only people in total echo chamber's would have believed that Romney was "obviously" winning. In fact, I'd say the majority of political analysts have been predicting a narrow Obama victory.

The election is being stolen by your fellow “citizens” who have no concept of the value of Personal Liberty.

There are too many who call themselves "citizens" who are willing to give up their personal liberty for an Obamaphone, their perception of Obamacare, and a welfare check.

What will they do when they lose all of their nanny-state gifts and suddenly realize their liberty is gone as well?
