We've got a long night ahead of us.
I'm personally not in the mood for woe is me whining.
I'm pleased to see that some of these negative posts have been pulled
We are still in the fight!
BUAIDH NO BAS!
I’m happy already even thought they’ve called Michigan for Bammy.
We crushed the union ballot proposals BADLY.
Preach it brother!
ditto
Tell that to FNC! Sounding tough for Romney to win without Ohio and Florida.
I agree. It’s bad enough that these people post negative vanities.
Even worse that they don’t hang around to defend them.
The mod should pull them all the negative ones.
The night is still young
You mean like this one
I’ve about had it with these posts. Michigan has NO results on its site, but someone is calling it for Zero. PA only has 18% in and someone is calling it for Zero.
The vanities are maddening, cut it the *&*&^ out!
This isn’t one of them. It’s all the FOX said this and FOX said that, MSNBC said that. All the state-by-state vanities should be pulled.
True dat!
I’m going to get caught up on season 3 of The Walking Dead and then come back to see results.
I’m too old to be watching with bated breath over something I have zero control over!
God doesn’t like worriers so I try not to! haha
Looks to me like the worst we can do is hold. We’ll definitely hold the house and looks like we’re even picking up a few seats there. It doesn’t look like we’ll be losing anything in the senate.
I agree! Knock it off, people! It’s too early for this!
TWD so far this season has been amazing!!! Best TV since Firefly.
A good thing that comes out of this election, regardless of the winner is that Dick Morris is finished as a “pundit.”
Season 3 TWD is fantastic. Make sure u watch season 3 episodes in order.
He can’t win without both. Must have Florida AND Ohio. MUST or it’s done.
Thank you.
Amen ... Free Republic is the Eye of the Tiger ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEjgPh4SEmU&feature=related
None here. I note that DUmmies have closed their site to non members. Never seen that before (since 2001)
I thought they were hiding their tears, but I’m not so sure they’re not comparing notes on their various methods of cheating.
Tomorrow I'll see whats what.
Yet to be announced: CA (55), FL (27), OH (20-If MR lost PA, he'll lose OH), NJ (15 we just won't know it "officially" for a few days)=270.
Game over. Not a "panic post": reality.

FNC has not called Ohio or Florida yet.
Who died and left you in charge to tell people not to express their concerns by posting?
I might suggest you stop posting vanities!!!
Same here...I come to Free Republic for factual information not whining.
Let me add, topic drifting a bit, that FR has been exceptionally responsive and snappy tonight. The nattering nabobs of negativity were predicting a failure of America's premiere site for Conservatism. Instead, Jim and John have crafted a stable, ultra-reliable service for us to enjoy. I noticed that the web server has recently changed from apache to nginx. I've never had a hint of trouble with 404s or 503s in the past but a few measurements I've taken to show performance reveal an improvement of 3-5% in content delivery times. Hats off to the Fresno crew for a job well done against overwhelming odds and record-breaking traffic.
Warren won over Scott Brown.
If that can happen, Obama can pull this out.
Where’s the FAT lady?
I don’t hear her sing.
I don’t get it. Polls close and they automatically hand out the States with 0% results in.
I’m praying NY has a change of heart.
Yay! censorship, suck ups and cliches! Whoo hoo for lag!!!
Well aren’t you blessed not to experience the extremely slow FreeRepublic...only took three minutes to post this from the time I keyed in “reply”.
I guess you can consider yourself a part of the “1%” that hasn’t experienced multiple problems here.
I will panic some about the Senate races:
To Richard Mourdock, Todd Akin and the rest of my fellow conservatives:
Repeat after me:
The next time you are asked about rape stow the religious answers away and give the liberal answer.
WE WILL NOT HOLD IT AGAINST YOU.
We know where you really stand!
Mourdock had no reason to lose an election in a heavy Romney victory state. This is an unforced error. If Akin blows it too then will WE PLEASE NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE NEXT TIME???
Stop trying to thread the needle on rape.
NY so far I see bozo at 42.5% and President Romney at 55.8%
....But I feel like panicking!
Really, I don’t have a sense of panic. More of wonderment, on how so much of our country could be SO CLUELESS!!!!!
Of course, 0bama has had many years to give away lots and lots of money to lots of chosen people/companies/communities. All the while, the Federal Reserve has been printing money like there’s no tomorrow....
These are all projections!! Don’t you remember Bush vs Gore?? It was nothing near their projections!!
It’s over.
I do need to add that I run Linux with Firefox 16.0.2 compiled from source code with the "-march=native -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer" gcc optimization flags. And I run my own nameserver with a routing enhancement (based on Dijkstra's algorithm) to find the most efficient path to Free Republic. So, I'll confess that it may be a combination of those factors that result in FR being as dependable as a privately-owned water utility. Still, the benchmarks taken over a period of time do show a notable improvement for this site.
I turned off Fox. Other sources show Romney still very much in this.
ok, ok, ok, projections.
Anyway, they must still be voting in NYC. My mom isn’t home yet. Polling place is only a few blocks away from her. I’ve been calling a few hours.
Looks like abortion is killing us. I can’t believe it.
In addition, the GOP will have lost a grand opportunity because they did not field a candidate conservative enough to win. They always go for the RINO or party favorite and not someone who can actually win. The same thing goes for all the Senate races that were lost because the GOP fielded the wrong candidate (Richard Mourdock anyone?).
With that, I am signing off and I will, most likely, wake up to a socialist dream nation and a conservative's worst nightmare. I hope I have a job come January 1st.......
I have friends in Ohio that voted for Bush in 2000. They told the exit pollster that they voted for Gore. This ain’t over by a long shot!
Believe it. Even among many pro-lifers they don’t want to take choice away.
A few weeks ago Pat Caddell made a point that Romney was better off picking Rubio. I love Ryan but that choice may haunt us for a long time to come. Florida would be over already and the Hispanic vote would have been better nationwide.
Ryan failed to carry his home state and that was always a traditional role of the VP choice.
I remain very optimistic since the Power of Almighty God trumps all as James 5:16 exhorts us:
As for abortion, the right to life is paramount. An unwavering support for the unborn is the centerpiece of Christian Conservatism. That said, if things do turn sour tonight, it's abundantly clear that election fraud orchestrated by Big Labor, ACORN and other fifth columnists have infiltrated the election process.
Looks like both Akin and Mourdock lost their once all but guranteed Senate seats as well.
the coming recession, the decline of GM, the unrest in the mideast etc can’t be blamed on Romney now. 2nd term disaster for Obama. We need to reach out to minorities, beacause the Democrats’ policies are killing them.
Fox is going to end up with a lot of egg on their face...
It’s not panic, it’s reality.
I concur...
Long night ahead- but the good guys win.
Always.
John 14:1 (KJV) “1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
not to mention Obama’s anti-energy policies that will have us see $6 a gallon gas
I just hope Romney doesn’t panic and concede
There’s way too many votes not yet counted - absentees, outlying counties, etc.
