Maybe health care workers should learn to wash their damn hands...
We do one of two things......claim allergy to eggs, or get a waiver from your personal Doc.
The year I took my first “manditory” flu shot is the year I got the flu like I’d never had in my life. I haven’t had the flu since and I’ll never take another flu shot. The flu shot doesn’t prevent anything and they’re pumping you with who-knows-what? I remember the big panic at work around H1N1 gov’t hoax. Do research before you let anyone shoot you or your kids up with anything.
Actually; it's not. In Red Hampshire; you can only wear a mask IF the hospital APPROVES the employee's exemption...they RARELY approve religious exemptions, as the people in HR are quite capable of judging the status of an employees relationship with Jesus Christ.
I'm sure you realize how many strains of the "flu" are out there.

I am a thinking person and I can make logicla decisions for myself.
I don’t base my decisions on emotion. I read the literature, such as the article I cited, and can make common-sense deductions or agree or disagree with the statements in such an article.
Do I have to be a doctor to say flu shots are a scam?
If you are not a medical doctor, who are you to disagree with my statement? If I can’t make my statement because I’m not a doctor, you can’t object to my statement because you’re not a doctor either.
Is every doctor equally good and read up on every aspect of medicine?
Are you a journalist or writer? If not, why should I read and respond to your post? Don’t just say if you’re not an expert or whatever you can’t possibly come to a proper conclusion. That’s liberal idiot talk and we can’t live without having experts tell us what we have to do and what we mustn’t do.
My wife and I both take Vitamin d-3 5000 IU daily...NEVER have had the 'flu'. I even run some eucalyptus oil thru the diffuser if everyone around town seems to be getting 'the bug'. No problems...not even a cold. Some friends at the hospital, who treat themselves the same way; are NOT happy campers.
They know how to.....but do they is the question.
I work with patients, you would be surprised by the people I work with that don't wash their hands. Doctor's, Nurse's, Aid's, Therapist's, are all guilty.
Hand washing is the NUMBER ONE preventative measure hospital workers can do...but it's not done enough.
I wash my hands probably 80-100 times a day...when I'm working in the hospital.
I can't source it at the moment, but I seem to recall a figure stating that 45% of health care workers do not wash their hands as often as they should.

It isn’t BS if you, as a provider, transmit to a compromised patient the strain you could be protected against if you took the inoculation.
If you are against all inoculations, I accept that. But, in my opinion, you shouldn’t be working in health care if that is the case.

I am in People’s Republic of Massachusetts (oddly enough in comparison) and my hospital gives the choice to all employees regardless of their basis for not wanting the inoculation. If they simply think it is hocus pocus voodoo as some posters clearly do, then that is a valid reason for refusing the inoculation.
Our badges must be worn at all times, and on the badges is a clearly identifiable marking that signifies whether you should be wearing a mask or not.
People pay attention to it, and not wearing the mask when you should be is a fireable offense.

Patient care isn’t accounting. It’s in the patient’s best interest not to be treated by caregivers who are shedding live viruses because they have the flu, although they might not be symptomatic yet.

This woman, who is a healthcare worker, may not be legally obligated to get a flu shot. But health organizations are not obligated to hire her, either. This is not about her. It is about the safety and welfare of her patients. Honestly, this is a stupid point on which she has chosen to dig in her heels.
If she has a known allergy or adverse reaction to the flu shot diluent, she should provide legitimate documentation from her healthcare provider so stating. That would end this matter. Otherwise, she needs to either get the damned shot or clear her locker.
I work in a hospital and Hospital’s are dirty Virus magnets with people coming in constantly sneezing and coughing in your face you’d have to be a damn fool not to get a Flu shot.Don’t forget the Tdap shot to go with it.
It will keep you out of the hospital.
