Somethings going on...(vanity)

Almost every day, we've been seeing unbelievable crowds for Romney and miniscule ones for Obama. 30,000 for Romney, 2800 for Obama.

We're told that crowd size is not scientific evidence of how the vote will turn out and it's only "anecdotal". Doesn't mean much. We're told it's the polls that tell the real story and it's close, very close.

But I can't be the only one who senses that something, way beyond what the polls are saying, is happening. Look at the size of this Colorado crowd. I think this thing could be a blowout for Romney/Ryan. I think MSDNC, DU, and the Daily Kos could be in for a bad night, a very bad night on Tuesday. And while we're celebrating, they'll be trying to figure out how it all went wrong. (Thanks to FReeper markomalley for posting this photo in a previous thread)

Yea, I’m just hearing elsewhere that the 20K number is false. So Obama doesn’t seem to pull the numbers Romney pulls.

There’s something happening here
What it is ain’t exactly clear
There’s a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware

I think it’s time we stop, children, what’s that sound
Everybody look what’s going down

There’s battle lines being drawn
Nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong
Conservatives speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind

Wouldn’t a government that comes to power by fraud be considered illegitimate?

********

Yes. Just ask Obama or Hugo Chavez or any President of Mexico for starters.

Last week, I drove from Sarasota, FL to Miami and returned after a short visit to the DR. I saw zero (count ‘em, zero) Obama signs on the road to/from and none in the part of Miami I was. I saw plenty of Romney signs, both on cars and on the ground.

I agree, this is likely to be big. Dim fraud is like a rash that won’t leave but this groundswell will overwhelm all the cheating the Dims conduct.

No, actually I think he’s correct. I recall reading about some massively attended rally by Mondale in St. Louis. Saw a photo of it also, somewhere. It struck me as odd, considering how hugely Mondale went on to lose in 1984.

Expect sabotage from the Federal Bureaucracy, as we saw under the Bush EPA and CIA, but even more. Obama has been funneling leftists into the Federal Government with a fire hose.

One of my doubts about Romney is whether he recognizes this and whether he'll have the cojones to fire zillions of Lefties in the Federal Government. Bush did not. Part of his failure as President...

Precisely. This is something that has bothered me ever since it became clear that Romney would be the Republican nominee, and therefore, the de facto 45th president.

If Romney leaves Obama's federal appointees in place throughout his administration, he may as well kiss a second term and any hope of restoring America good bye. His authority and agenda will be undermined and sabotaged in thousands of different ways from day one.

I know how much he's spoken of 'working across the aisle', but that had better be a bunch of campaign blather, uttered to soothe the nerves of the independents. He's got to adopt the exact opposite tone as soon as he's sworn in, if he intends to actually take command as a president should. The leftists, both appointed and elected, will do everything they can to stop him.

We just back from a 6 week/5000 mile trip through 12 states and I tried to count the Obama signs. It was pretty easy...the only ones I saw were yard signs in south Georgia in small towns. I counted under 20 in all during the entire trip. Made me hopeful!

"Somethings going on ..."

There is a bizarre quality to the atmosphere ... somethings .... there's a kind of hush all over the world tonite ... maybe has something to do with those rays that the govment is beaming at people out of the TV set ... or from the auto headlights on high beam ... it was weird ... I went door-to-door in the bellweather precinct in CT ... the bellweather for the whole country and everyone was undecided and they had no questions or issues that they wanted to know and nobody was home all afternoon.

Maybe everyone went to a college football game. Somebody been watching Outer Limits or that other show or listening to Art Bell.

Good grief, is there anybody who can post that picture of the “Concern Troll”? This place is knee deep tonight with pessimism and CONCERN! I think if some of you people couldn't find a negative, fatailistic spin on something, you just wouldn't be happy. I'm outa here.

Romney didn’t get where he is today without a few heads rolling.

Call out the instigator
Because there’s something in the air
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here

And you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right
We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now

Run through the fields and houses
Because there’s something in the air
We’ve got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here

And you know it’s right
And you know that it’s right
We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now

I looked up the Delta Center earlier because I suspected the same thing and couldn’t find the number! Good job! Something isn’t adding up is it?

Today we drove through downtown Cleveland, and even there we saw few Obama signs. There were even a few Romney signs. Four years ago, those streets were lined with Obama signs.

I was also on the Cleveland State Campus a few weeks ago when Obama was here, taking a day long class. When we broke for lunch, we were all amazed how bare the campus was. When I got home, I checked our local news for the crowd estimates. I found no coverage of the event at all! I still don’t know how many came.

And now I hear he was back this week with Stevie Wonder on the same campus and drew something like 200?! You would think Stevie Wonder would get way more than that in Cleveland without Obama.
