Carl Cameron just reported that Mitt Romney is absolutely giddy behind the scenes.
He says on the campaign airplane when someone goes to use the bathroom.. Romney runs over and bangs on the door acting as if he has to go. LOL!
Romneys “spring in his step” is contagious! Hearing how “giddy” he is makes me ecstatic! I love it!
Romney is acting like a winner. Have you ever noticed how baseball players are in the dugout when things are going well? Smiles, practical jokes, nonchalance, and heads held high. When they are doing poorly they have towels over their heads, heads in the hands, frowns on their faces and kicking equipment around. I don’t think it would be much fun in Obama’s dugout/clubhouse right now.
It’s been a long, hard campaign. He deserves to blow off some steam and relax.

Funny, this morning Campaign Carl reported to the Friends that he was allowed to peek at the Ohio internals and that they were very close. I have been a nervous wreck all day.
He also was a huge detriment to Sarah Palin with his “fair” reporting. I think he is a liberal hack. Just my opinion, of course.
I’m going to say this only a few times.
This will be close. Dont expect a gingrich-predicted 6 point win, or an EV landslide. It’s NOT going to happen. The demos dont support it, and will probably never again in the US.
We WILL win however, if each and every one of us votes ourselves and helps out in any way we can - talking to our friends and acquaintances, convincing them cordially why we are right, and pledging our help on phone lines, etc.
Dont rest on your laurels by anecdotal evidence. Signs and demeanor mean nothing. Both sides are sending out smoke signals. 4 years ago a bunch of freepers were giddy about an epic possible McCain victory.
I think the polls are wrong. But they wont be wrong by more than a few points, and you are fooling yourself to think so. So get off your butt and help out and make this happen. Romney needs to be President and we need to save our nation!

I hope this is true. I know a lot of us here have had our doubts about Romney, and I’m glad it appears we are coalescing around the bigger idea that his victory will also end what is a catastrophic trajectory for the nation.
So think about this behavior. This is a man who has accomplished more than virtually anyone can in a lifetime. Go ahead and point to the “born on third base and thinking you got a triple” mentality, but I believe Romney is extraordinarily driven. A loss would devastate him. If he is in good spirits, this tells me he likes what his pollsters are telling him.
I hope and pray we will once again elect a happy warrior.

I share your opinion. The only reason he's reporting this story, the way he is, is to depress turnout for Romney.
Wasn’t Carl the one who broke that ridiculous story back during the ‘08 campaign that during debate prep, Palin thought Africa was a country???
I believe he had to apologize for that. Ever since then I have been very leery of trusting him.
