Divorces are never pretty, but this one got pretty ugly -- literally.
A Chinese man divorced and then sued his ex-wife for giving birth to what he called an extremely ugly baby girl, the Irish Times reported.
Initially, Jian Feng accused his wife of infidelity, so sure that he could never father an unattractive child.
When a DNA test proved that the baby was his, Feng's wife came clean on a little secret -- before they met, she had undergone about $100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery in South Korea.
Feng sued his ex-wife on the grounds of false pretenses, for not telling him about the plastic surgery and duping him into thinking she was beautiful, The Huffington Post reported.
The kicker? He won. A judge agreed with Feng's argument and ordered his ex-wife to fork over $120,000.
"I married my wife out of love, but as soon as we had our first daughter, we began having marital issues," he told the Irish Times. "Our daughter was incredibly ugly, to the point where it horrified me."

An ugly woman has a scowl, a frown, or has her mouth open to nag or screech.
She wasted 100K, and wound up with a jerk. I hope she and her daughter have a great life from here forward.

Oh, she is stunning now but I think she is just a little unfortunate looking in the ‘before’ picture. It is very good work on the doctor’s part.
I cannot believe that any man could call his child ugly. And yes, he will reap what he sows. They should have posted his picture too.

But I do agree with you. I have worked with women who were monsters, just evil, vicious and ugly to the core. People who didn’t know them thought they were gorgeous. I am surprised I have a tongue left, I have bitten it so many times to not respond.
And I pray that this man’s daughter doesn’t have to grow up under the stigma of what her father said about her. I hope the two of them find peace and happiness far away from him.

The not having her mouth open screeching or scowling makes her as pretty in one picture as the other, in my book.

Plus, you can marry someone attractive, and have children that look like other members of the family. It’s a gamble. I guess he never met the in-laws lol
You also can’t tell how kids will turn out, some attractive child actors grew into ugly adults.

Ok, so the little girl got a pasting by the ugly stick.
Her best revenge is to become someone famous. Study, use her brain, never get surgery, and just be the woman to which God handed life.
There are scads of Chinese literature on matters similar to this, that date back thousands of years. I know, I had to read mountains of them in undergrad. Though I can’t put my finger on it now, there is an ancient Chinese tale about just such a thing. The woman grew to be famous, although never really physically attractive, she was sought after by famous men. Her father fell into disrepute and became destitute, she took pity on him and “let” him be her house servant. A position he gladly accepted.
I’ll look through the mountains of Chinese lit in the book case. I’ll find it in about 5 years or so.

BTW, one third of the people in the World are ugly. For example, look at the guy on your left, and if he looks okay, then look at the guy on your right. If he also looks okay, then WHAT CAN I TELL YOU!?

Ya, know, this is something I always wondered about with plastic surgery so commonplace now! It could happen both ways, too.
But, the baby is not to blame and every life is precious regardless of looks. I worked with this woman who was very attractive and we had a fun contest at work where everyone brought in pictures of themselves as babies and we had to guess who was whom. NOBODY matched the baby picture to this woman - and she had not had any plastic surgery. You just never know. I’ve seen incredibly cute and adorable baby pictures of people who are now adults and they ain’t so cute and adorable anymore! Too bad this little girl will grow up without a loving and accepting father - it’s HIS loss.
Didn’t Rodney also say he was so ugly his Mom had to tie a pork chop around his neck to get the dog to play with him?
You’ve heard the expression, “ugly baby, pretty lady”? Some people need to grow into their looks.
