Some here are quite rational and helpful. (Others, not so much.......)
Politics, world affairs, news, etc. really needs to be taken with a grain of salt. (or maybe a whole sack of it!!)
Difficult time to retain sanity what with the talking heads on the boob box repeatedly making up quotes and taking things out of context and running all stories by the DNC before going to broadcast.
I tuned it out 4 years ago (tv died and I didn’t replace it).
It was bad enough in the 1990s when I caught myself encountering an internal “political correctness” censor trying to match the proper phrasing of things in public (mailperson et al).
Even if you reject their message, you are constantly bombarded with it by the idiot box in television ads and teasers for the nightly news as well as comedy programs.
Do you ever respond to anything you post or do you post and run?
