Also, when Romney wins, they can cry voter fraud since the polls had shown BO had been ahead all this time and force another election until they get the results they want.

Yup, that’s the obvious strategy. However, I tend to think a little more darkly. BTW, Reynolds absolutely makes the best aluminum foil. :-)

Sure, the bosses have security or are carrying, I agree. Likely have sent their families to the country for the duration. Also agree they don’t care about anything/anyone else.

How far do they get putting out a show if the staff, the techs, and assorted smaller fry can’t even get to work? Do the ferals spare the network buildings and the power grid because the bosses are willing to see sacrifices? I just saw where NYC is contemplating a $15 bridge toll. How many of the essential crafts for a TV production live in New Jersey?

It is all just unbelievable, to me. 60% have no faith in the media. Print media is in huge financial trouble. People are cancelling paid TV because they cannot afford it or simply cannot stand it. People that still have TV mute the ads, fast-forward them on DVR or leave the room. Movies are doing really badly for the first time in 50 years. And the geniuses that run the media are cool with further alienating the already alienated audience?

So their ideology forces them to ignore reality and they are then targets/victims, but they keep on promoting the ideology. I am not smart enough to understand this dynamic.

All I can say is look to history. When Germany and the Soviets were getting hammered, the ideologues were right there Baghdad Bob style.

They braved the bombs and violence to spread the Gospel of their masters.

WHY should this be any different when the threat of evil GOP rule hangs over their heads and all the progress of the Obamian Utopia is on the line?

They have been programmed from kindergarten to bring in the Brave New World.

The statistic I saw, I believe it was today, was that ONLY 8% of the population implicitly trusts the media. You make some good points and raise a good question.

I think Romney has a 10 point lead. Be pretty hard for them to do anything but cry.

Polls are close to make a Rodney win seam unfair... Voter is laws will ne blamed and the usual racist charges will be levied.... This will be the foundation for unseating Rodney in 2012 when the economy should begin to turn according to the cyclical nature of the markets.. this will hive the winner of the 2016 elections the bragging rights that they built the economy...

And don’t think that Rodney will be able to fix the economy because he won’t... The fed has baked in continued malaise with inflation for the next 4 years min.... And don’t think that the now government owned banks and industry will help.... The nationalized banks will play there stock of foreclosed homes to further suffocate and consolidate the markets... (With help from the fed). Etc.

“What it is is laying the groundwork for later challenging the results and more to the point, providing cover for whipping up dissent and riots.”

Yes, and they will use the polls to justify “Poll Tax Law” law suits because as of everyone knows (sarc) asking voters for ID is racist!

“The elite media lives in the urban areas. They do not rate security. If the country goes up in flames, they & their families are going to be right in the middle of it.”

There really is a silver lining behind every dark cloud.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how good of a turnaround artist Romney is. I know that toward the end of Reagan’s first term there was a lot of political pressure on him to intervene in the economy for perceived short term benefits, yet he resisted and continued with non-interventionist economic policy. I hope Romney is at least as good as Reagan. He certainly should understand the markets. One can hope.

There is no mechanism to legalize millions of illegal aliens either. If DOJ says we want to investigate they will.

Yes, and..
Yes

The winner will be determined not by the number of votes cast, or the electoral votes, but by the electronic voting machines (that leave no paper trail) tabulated by the Geroge Soros company.

Enough said !

But there against Voter ID. Go figure.

Modern Liberalism is so full of contradictions, it should be like hitting the side of a barn...
