I am warming to Greta. I watched last night and tonight. Her line up of guests has been great. She’s not full of herself and she lets guests talk. Compare that to the 8 and 9 pm shows.

Why would he have been banned from Fox News? Maybe as a commentator while he was still running. But yep, he has been MIA on Fox lately. Glad to see him back.

It took me awhile to get use to her too. I finally started liking her in ‘08 with Palin. Before that, I thought she was more left than right. Now I think she is slightly right of center.
If Newt was Secretary of State, foreign countries would have nervous breakdowns and be on Prozac and eat Poppies all day. Muslims would also shut themselves in their mosques and pray to Allah for mercy all day.

Thanks publana. Newt will wind up his career and life as the Republican Humphrey, having publicly embraced positions from the other side of the aisle (global warming poppycock, for one thing) and been known for his speaking, and having been close to the Presidency, but never having achieved it.

The main problem with Greta is that she does not allow the viewer to learn the opinion of her guest.
For example, once a guest has launched an idea, Greta stops the idea cold with her”tough” questions such as “But how can you say that when other people say exactly the opposite?’
All guests on Greta should be given a buzzer to bleep out Greta’s intereuption, and complete the thought for the benefit of the audience, and for the consternation of Greta and her producers.

Brit Hume took every possible opportunity to eviscerate Gingrich. Hume’s personal vendetta against Newt was clearly evident and Hume was extremely unprofessional. I lost every ounce of respect for Brit and will never believe anything he says again. Because of Hume, fox treated Gingrich terribly, if I was him I would tell them to go to hell and never walk on their set again.
I was thinking the same thing - Newt would make very good SOS if he remained a pit bull - there needs to be a huge sweep of that whole bureaucracy...then deal with the rest of the world.
