The host committee for the Democratic National Convention is raising a number of eyebrows after choosing to proceed with featuring Islamic “Jumah” prayers for two hours on the Friday of its convention, though Democrats earlier denied a Catholic cardinal’s request to say a prayer at the same event.
Up to 20,000 people are expected to attend the Friday prayers and Jibril Hough, a spokesman for the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA), said the purpose of the event is to hold political parties accountable for the issues faced by Muslim-Americans.
In particular, the event will target the Patriot Act, the NYPD, the National Defense Authorization Act, and anti-Shariah sentiment...
I was reading volume one of “The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire” the other day and at one point the author describes how religion in the Republic had become a shell - ritual only and bereft on any real influence in people’s lives. Although the author didn’t go further, it occurred to me that that creates a vacuum in a society and eliminates the “antibodies” that would normally rise up to purge a society of destructive philosophies. I can’t help but see parallels to the modern day U.S.A.
And of course they didn’t go through any kind of security to get there or go into the building or have extra security around the building./s

1. Looks like a good place for the authorities to arrest all those ‘unindicted co-conspirators’ members of muslim groups in this country. (they can’t or won’t)
2. The BIMA website only expects 5,000 participants - I’m not sure where the Blaze is getting the 20,000 number. I think they’re reporting other people’s numbers.
3. I expect the media will not report the scandalous affiliations of the people associated with this group, so no one will care.
4. Maybe someone will play the Shehada next week while hussein is speaking and he’ll alert at the podium and prostrate himself for allah (piss be upon him)
Does this suprise anybody? After all BHO is a community organizer. He is just adding to his base. He has united the gays with the socialists and marxists along with the union thugs, illegal imigrants, and hollywood eletes to die hard democrats, not to mention those who want free birth control. Now add the muslums. I just hope and pray that there are enough of us left over to keep America. Otherwise there will be change.
