In turn they both look a great deal like the “classic” UFO disc-shaped craft that purportedly crashed in Roswell. Just something to think about...

And by the end of 1947 Bell Labs had successfully developed the groundwork for the key active component in practically all modern electronics: the transistor. The rest, of course, is history. That was some quick reverse engineering right there!

So French, who was no where near Roswell in ‘47, ‘knows’ that there were, not just one, but two crashes near Roswell. And how does he know this? Because some unnamed friend told him that he shot one of them down with a directed energy weapom mounted in an experimental aircraft.
