Battered GOP Voter Syndrome
RWWN ^ | 8/7/2012 | John Alan

“Ok so he cheats on you and mistreats you, do you really want to raise the kids on your own?”

'Battered GOP voter syndrome' is exactly the same. “Yeah the GOP's candidate ran to the left of Ted Kennedy, signed socialized medicine into law and proclaimed his views to be progressive, do you really want to cause the destruction of the entire planet by allowing Obama to be reelected?”

your purists position [...] idiotic and self defeating [...] childish and self defeating [...] useful idiots

Ummmmmmmmmm... speaking of "self-defeating":

Seriously. All the shrieking, and whatnot...? Probably NOT helping.

That the ticket, cling to your emotion based dogmas. Don't let the uncomfortable facts get in the way of your feelings.

Your choice is Romney or Obama. Currently you are playing PR mouthpiece for team Obama. Considering he is 100% opposed to everything you claim to stand for, that is an idiotic place for you to be.

It's better if I get 100% of what I oppose politically rather then get 75-80% of what I want politically.

That is your purists position. It is idiotic and self defeating. GROW up, nothing in life is ever going to be 100% perfect. Running around scream hysterically because the world isn't perfect is childish and self defeating.

You people are the useful idiots the Democrats count on election after election.

See #24. Pure, brute math makes it both demonstrable and screamingly self-evident that Mittens:

a.)... Mittens cannot, and will not, win Seattle; AND --

b.)... any huffy, red-faced insistence that I throw my vote away upon him, regardless of said concrete f-a-c-t, is the only "emotion-based dogma" currently in the room.

Plainly, you know nothing of this city, or state. Educate yourself, and then get back to me.

I’m staying true to my principles and not voting for either one of them. I don’t vote for liberals. Period.

You have a good night. I think I’ll steer clear of the Romney threads for awhile. Watching FReepers promote a liberal is more than I can stomach.

Someone who insists they are a conservative but will vote for a liberal is exactly like someone who insists they are a vegetarian while they are eating a big, juicy t-bone steak.

You are not a vegetarian but a hypocrite and a liar.

Rationalizing and equivocating does not make it truth.

It is actually pathetic.

Cognitive dissonance.

8 years of Romney is worse than 4 years of Obama. We can fight the later. The former will end Conservatism forever.

You mis-state the situation.

It would be 8 years of Obama, not 4, if Romney loses.

And it's not guaranteed that it would be 8 years of Romney, if he wins. He could be replaced in 2016 with another Republican.

Third (and 4th, 5th, etc.) party candidates have zero chance of winning,

Only to the white flag wavers to liberalism.

More likely, Romney would be replaced in 2016 with a Democrat. Chuck Schumer is in charge of the Presidential Inaugural festivities in January. Minutes after Romney is sworn in, Schmuckie would run to the cameras and announce "It's Romney's economy now!" All the land mines Obama and the DemocRATs laid would be set to go off, and the media would blame it all on Romney. 2016 would be a Republican blood bath, with the Democrats winning back the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. Hey, Obama could run again! The DemocRATs message leading up to 2016? "WE TOLD YOU SO!"

Who? And does he/she have a snowball's chance in hell of winning?

Virgil Goode. And he has as much chance as mitt. mitt is splitting the liberal vote, thus if Conservatives support Goode then we'll win.

Conservatives need to pay the same game mitt played against the GOP Conserviatives - one liberal against a field of Conservatives. Now there are two flaming faggot liberals (R,D) vs Virgil Goode.

perhaps a failure by conservatives but a corrupt and disgusting campaign run by romney and the gop e. romney simply carpet bombed the conservatives with false and negative ads with his wallstreet buddies money

the gop e is every bit the enemy as are the dems. we are 16 trillion in debt because our side has been too gutless to stand up to the libs. romney is one of them, he is a lib. we are bringing is a trojan horse

“We simply cannot have 4 more years of Obama. You never know if Obama would simply ignore the Constitution and a start a police state. That risk doesn’t exist with Romney”

in that case me might as well fold up shop and rollover. if it’s that easy to start a police state and we’ll just let them do it, then it’s over. some things you have to fight for, preventing romney from handing over the gop to mccain, leavitt and graham is worth fighting for.

“So which Left wing clown posse pays you to wander the web spewing anti GOP BS on Conservative websites?”

I get about $10,000 a month from soros and media matters leases me a car. I’m going to put you in the romney rollover camp. the sad thing is that people like you think if the guy has an R after his name we won. that’s where you are wrong, all we did was make sure the dems have no opposition.

Two things:

(1) Failed even to convince fellow Republicans, yet dream to convince the general public?

(2) Yes, Romney's campaign had negative ads, etc. You don't think that will not happen in the Fall when the opponent is 0bama? Stop complaining for this year. Start organizing for 2016 so whatever happened in 2012 will not happen. One thing for sure: carpet bombing negative ads from either side are something to be expected, not to be lamented. Otherwise, you can apply for a job at McCain's campaign. That's what they do: playing nice, not caring about the results.

Spare us the hysteric bombast. We see your sort of Leftist slime every election season. When you have to lie about your real agenda, you have all ready lost the debate.

Virgil Goode has zero chance of winning, he won't even get 1% of the vote and he's not on the ballot in a lot of states.

Every vote for him is simply a vote to keep the big Zero in office another four years so he can finish his destructive work.

Goode thinking......../s

At least Reagan, unlike today’s so-called GOP leaders, understood what he could accomplish not by “compromising” but starting with the idea of reaching the brass ring and then happy to get 75%.

The left learned hard from this. That is why they, today, mimmick the concept and propose unreal spending programs knowing if they get 55-70% of that they are WAY ahead. Mostly because today’s GOP are cowards.
