You can’t....lol. I have a Facebook account and love it. You should just enjoy it because it never goes away....seriously. At least if you keep it, you can control it.

I've got some problems but Facebook isn't one of them, I have never been tempted to sign up.

I use Facebook exclusively to allow me to be able to log onto local news sites and comment on their anti-conservative/anti-gun bias.

And I get a lot of people, “Liking,” my commentary.

It’s the only thing I use it for.

That’s a good idea. I annoy liberals for a hobby on FB, too. Good times.

You can’t. You’re doomed to haunt the search pages of Facebook forever even after you deactivate. Facebook never gives up it’s deactivated.

You better try before your data gets migrated to a Gov't-sponsored site:

Photobucket

However: how to you uncontact a contact on linkedin?

From your 'contacts' menu, choose 'connections'. Your contacts will show up with a check box next to their names. Select the one you want to uncontact and when you check the box, a second menu will show up at the right. One of the options will be to delete the contact.

it never goes away...You can delete your account...2 years later sign your name and password you had in the box and it will ALL come back..I know i tried it...

Absolutely correct... The only way is make it spam so you don't see it.

Find out which of the 5 thousand servers your information is on. Break into the building and smash that server. While your at it, smash a few hundred more.

Mine doesn’t. The phony data might still exist on their phony-baloney books (83 million ghost users), but the account I deleted 3yrs ago is publicly gone. Former name/password get zero result, except an offer to “sign-up for an account”.

Delete all your pics, delete all your posts, then change your FB name. Start putting up fake posts, fake pics, fake locations to muddy the water and leave the account up.

When you change your FB name, be creative... Something like
Ben Dover, Mike Hawk, Mike Hunt, York Hunt, Hugh G. Rection...
