Based on accounts from Aurora law enforcement, the FBI, the news media, our elected officials and Obama who recently claimed that people just don't build things on their own; can we say that Holmes acted alone?
Presumably living on his own for several weeks or a few months with a limited digital footprint and massive amounts of student debt, Holmes cashed in research grant money, unemployment claims, and likely other entitlement program proceeds from various human and/or online resources of local, state and federal agencies to purchase thousands of dollars of weapons, explosives, and tactical equipment, in a period of 2 months, receiving deliveries in multiple locations using traceable and required credit or debit cards, and showing personal identification and licenses to receive the packages. How many people interacted with the loner Holmes? How many vigilant people said anything to the authorities? How many authorities actually did anything with the information? Can any of us really build anything on our own?
Some eye witness reports contradict the developing official story. One witness claimed that the tear gas canisters came “from both sides” of the theater. Another witness said that before the movie began he saw someone sit down in the front row, and shortly after sitting down his phone rang. He walked over to the emergency exit to the right side of the theater opened the door and looked to be signaling someone outside the theater. Was that Holmes signaling to no one or someone? They keep calling it an "emergency exit". Did the alarm sound when it opened? Multiple contradicting news stories said Holmes reentered through a door at the front, side, or rear. Some say he taped the lock open, some say he broke the lock, some say he kicked the door in when exit doors open out. Some say he banged until someone opened it for him. The shooter enters or reenters the theater 20 or 30 minutes into the film. If he acted alone, he entered wearing bullet proof protection head to toe, holding a shotgun, an assault rifle with a gigundo 100 round clip, a glock or two, and ammo galore all easily accessible and most likely visible, or was it all in his pockets along with the tear gas canisters? If you saw someone carry all of this in the door, what would you do? Scream? Fight? Run? Shout "hey, stop the noise and sit the hell down or get out?" Or shout "WTF look at all those weapons!" He caused a lot of damage in the 90 seconds it took police to get there. How long between the start of the shooting and the 911 call? How long was he firing into the crowd? Was he already outside by/in his car in a mellow state ready to give up when the police found him? How fast would Vicodin work after that adrenaline rush? What did his shrink prescribe? Did she ever bother to check his levels?
Evidence photos have surfaced of a gas mask outside of the emergency exit of theater 8. Police reported that when they arrested the shooter in the white Hyundai outside of theater 9 he was wearing a gas mask. Could that make 2 gas masks recovered? Photos show the assault rifle propped up against the wall opposite of the fire exit door of theater 9. Police radio communications reported that the rifle was found inside the theater. Were there 2 rifles? Was evidence moved before pictures were taken? Why was the Hyundai window broken if he did not resist and calmly volunteered information? Was he just coo coo or were there greater motives, motivations or masters of this puppet?
Other radio communications suggested there were two suspects fleeing the theaters both wearing back packs. There's the radio report of three people dragging an unknown individual into a vehicle and speeding off. Police radioed that "one of the shooters" may be wearing blue and plaid shirt. The Saturday following the attack, Obama said he'd bring whoever is responsible to Justice, after suggesting a day earlier it was a single evil attacker. Romney even made statements suggesting that those responsible would be punished.
How fast could one man cause an audience to think he is putting on a theater sanctioned show, cloud a room with tear gas (after the movie started), then riddle the room with the bullets and buckshot from 3 or 4 different weapons, with one jamming? The gas set off the sprinklers - that means there was smoke unless someone pulled a fire alarm, which was not reported. Eyes and throats were irritated with the gas - wouldn't that cause people to run to any exit rather than hunker down? Was he shooting with the exit to his back? It was reported that the shells fell in the isle and burned a victim’s forehead. Was the isle in the middle or on the side? Was Holmes moving around strategically taking people one by one as they ran or was he just shooting wildly? It was a 300 person theater. An isle on the right would have been accessible from two directions. The isle in the middle would be accessible from 3 directions if he was shooting from in front of the screen. Was the tear gas located in extreme opposite corners? Did the gas obstruct the shooters vision as well as the victims’ vision? People were killed covering up loved ones. Did anyone even try to approach Holmes from one side or another to attempt to stop him? Holmes either had no one between himself and the exit or he made them get out of the way – did he say anything or shout anything – probably couldn’t with a gas mask on? He was found sitting all alone in his car outside the exit and no one tried to retaliate until the police got there? Why?
Could Holmes alone have had the skill set to set up a system of explosive devices and booby traps that would have the FBI working for two days? Can anyone buy enough chemicals and explosives to make 30 grenades and other devices legally without some extra scrutiny or the eye of Big Brother watching? Did he live with the booby traps for a while? How long before he set the traps did he lose his two roommates? Who were they? What do they know? Who turned the loud music on and off at his apartment the night of the shooting? What was the point of the loud music going off at 11pm - a diversion before the shooting at the theater? Why was Holmes still living in an apartment complex used for University students, employees and patients? Is it unusual for loud music to play at 11pm in these dorms? Was the music meant to give him an alibi? Was he stupid or an evil genius?
Being part of a PHD neuroscience program is bizarre. How could academia have taken him along so far with so much crazy? Did they just do it to collect government backed student loans? How incompetent are his professors and instructors for not diagnosing the madman sooner? Some reports have called him super intelligent, but an assistant professor said he couldn't even create a rock, paper, scissors computer program and was inept and even shy in basic interpersonal relationships. All while he was looking for multiple simultaneous sex partners with his web cam and illustrating his evil plans in a notebook for his shrink. He at least "built it" with a few accomplices in his own head.
Holmes made use of a variety of small arms (handguns, rifle, shotgun) when 1 or 2 would have been sufficient to "build it" - this while the UN pushes legislation on the table to ban small arms globally. Connecting these points may seem paranoid but then listen to the jurisdiction overreaching Bloomberg calling for a national police strike until weapons are banned from the public. Crazy is helping crazy help crazy build transformational societal change. Together they "build it".
A man on a mission to kill leaves a traceable trail behind. Is he just plain crazy or did he delight in the killings? If his intent was to go all the way with this thing, why did he send an illustrated notebook of his plans to his shrink on the 12th and likely leave a financial trail of purchases behind in the weeks and months leading up to him "building it"? If he were as smart as they want us to believe, an intelligent person planning an attack like this would do everything he could to stay off of the radar. Reports said he only used cash and left no trail. Buying the guns legally doesn't allow anonymity (buying them illegally in Mexico from the ATF does). The result of what has been built demonizes constitutionally protected responsible legal gun owners and dealers.
Initial reports claimed Holmes was living with two other people. If Holmes had roommates where were they? If they had moved out before the booby traps were placed, would they not have crossed paths with Holmes again, to pick up mail or to pay bills, to meet with apartment management over leases or deposits? Would someone have stumbled across Holms constructing his elaborate booby traps weeks before - one of the delivery people perhaps? Did Holmes send any notes to the police before it all went down, like he did to his shrink? Why tell the police at all about the booby traps after trying to kill a theater full of people? Who did Holmes set the traps for, the Keebler Elves? Did Holmes have more respect for the police then he did for theater going adults, children and babies? Were the booby traps really that sophisticated?
Will MSNBC tell us this all was motivated by the tea party and right wing rhetoric, just like the Giffords’ shooting?
How can we be told that anything or anyone other than Holmes helped him "build it", when we are told he acted alone?
There is a plethora of unexplained and possibly unexplainable details to this incident. But for myself just looking at what’s been made available to the public via the news and televised hearing of Mr. Holmes. I would not be at all surprised that he was “programmed”.
His Neuroscience grant points to a high probability that one of his government “minders”, (there’s always one around it seems like), spotted him as a good subject for grooming and aiming him in the direction that was needed. If he was borderline Paranoid Schizophrenic he could have been pushed over the edge with the right stimuli. Add in psychotropic drugs to ‘control’ that and you have a walking/talking candidate for the incident of your choice.
Add in the U.N.’s ATT Treaty and the Fast and Furious Meltdown. There was the ‘need’ for an incident featuring personal weapons aka ‘Guns’ and you have the kernel for a great political statement or at the least a movie.
I think that you are on to something. From the communist viewpoint, sacrificing a dozen or so sheep for the greater good makes perfect sense. They cannot gain complete control when so many people have the arms to resist. I think that one should remember that in the last free election held in Germany before WWII... Hitler had the support of only 34% of the population. Hitler established firm gun control in 1938. Team Obama knows that if they can disarm the citizens that they could take over this country.
any why were the court records being sealed? Sounds like a manchurian candidate type of thing.
However, the piece flows well over all and this is a great line: Crazy is helping crazy help crazy build transformational societal change. Together they "build it".
I thought (too optimisitically, of course) that that was the premise -- that the crazy society helps crazy do crazy things. But instead it just seems to be a conspiracy rant.
Here is what I want to know.
Bottom line
Did anyone see James Holmes pull the trigger or do any of these deeds?
Or did they just find him sitting in a car with the gear on and ASSUME it was the shooter inside.
All I know is that he used the roads that all of the libbies yap so much that they paid for, so they get some of the “credit.”
The Libor aspect is interesting.
As is the second gas mask.
As is the sanitization of the story.
So..things being kept quiet as they try to catch accomplices or was it a Black Op by someone?
It’s hard for me to comprehend that the Government would be behind this despite the history of nasty deeds.
I just don’t know what to make of all of this.
No one actually saw James Holmes commit the deeds.
He may be a patsy.
There is just something off about all of this
