Bill O'Reilly- he's lived everywhere
07-20-2012 | Me

Posted on 07/21/2012 1:33:26 AM PDT by Kevin in California

It's rare that I can stomach this blowhard for an hour straight but is it me or does it seem like this leprecaun has lived in every city, county, state in this country? Seriously, everytime there's an issue at hand that involves any particular state and it's city, O'Reilly has either visited that city/state and/or he's lived there.

Tonight, while talking about the tragedy in Aurora, CO., O'Reilly claimed he lived there for 2 years.

What sane human being moves around as much as O'Reilly claims?

I know and I’m not talking about color. I used to be a little bit country and a little bit rock n’ roll. Sorry, Hank’s choice of big pink flowers on that jacket and seeing Johnny (the man in black) Cash’s name next to it made it just too much.

Your naivety is showing through with your comment about O’Reilly. TV and radio people move around a lot in their business, especially early in their careers trying to get established. Many other professions are the same way.

I have moved many, many times in my life because of the military. I was an Air Force brat growing up and then was active duty myself as an adult. Then my military wife was transferred a lot after my tour ended. I have lived in California twice, Maryland, Texas three times, Wyoming, Arizona three times, New Mexico three times, Oregon, Missouri, Florida twice, South Carolina and Spain.

And I can assure you, I am as sane a person as they come.

TV news people on the rise move frequently due to the nature of the business. They try to climb form smaller to larger markets, and search for better deals and more supportive management and colleagues.

Apparently he lived in several places, in America. So what?

Can’t say the same for Obama.

Sean Vannity does the same thing. That’s why I don’t watch or listen to either one anymore.

I have lived all over the word thanks to my military career and wouldn’t have changed anything. I went back to California for a high school reunion and felt sorry for classmates who stayed right where they were all their lives. Unbelievably boring. Ever American needs to get out and see the world. On an additional note, isn’t it fascinating that both O’Reilly and Limbaugh were draft-dodgers? I find it difficult to believe that anyone who considers themselves a conservative would avoid their duty to their country.

Yes, but at least Mr. "Fair and Balanced" Bloviator has finally started coming around and of late, has been hitting Dear Leader quite hard on his "Redistribution of Wealth" agenda.

Of course, even though Bill lays out every indication of what B. Hussein is doing which is right from the Marxist Playbook, he still refuses to call the Community Agitator what he really is, a "Socialist/Communist"

What surprised me even more 2 days ago, was Laura Ingram agreeing with him and saying something asinine such as "labels are not important" and she would also not refer to his as a "Socialist."

I’ve lived in Alabama (born there) 6 different times, Florida four different times, Alaska, England, South Carolina, Massachusetts, California, Turkey, Germany, Virginia and Texas. All that moving was due to being an AF brat until I turned 21 at which point I then went to work for DoD, followed by 15 years with DOJ.

There’s a country song called “The House That Built Me” and I was telling a friend that it made me sad to know that I didn’t have such a place because of moving all the time. She laughed and said that she’d always been envious of me because I’d gotten to see so much of the world and she’d spent most of her life here in Alabama. I had to agree - wonder if some country singer couldn’t sing something about the base housing that built them. PS: And speaking of going back for your HS reunion in CA - I went to two of mine - Atwater HS, Class of 68.

BFD! I grew up in an Army family and did some traveling of my own, and, had an ex who caused me to do some more.

I went to seven high schools in two states and two countries!

When my ex left Maryland, she moved to Aurora, and, then on to Denver.

I was an independent bank consultant and traveled all over the US from Texas, mostly by auto. In fact, after the kids moved to Aurora I got pretty good at driving to the Denver Area, from Houston, in under 15 hours!

We are a very mobile society!

I think when you have a personality like O’Reilly it’s not uncommon for city council to send a representative to your home and politely ask you to leave town within 48 hours.
