Posted on 07/20/2012 11:01:12 PM PDT by An American in Turkiye
My wife is leaving tomorrow for a 6 month deployment to Afghanistan. She is an ICU nurse and will see the worst of the worst over there. My fellow FReepers, please keep 1Lt April Oliver in your prayers as she serves our country.
And if she needs anything, let us know. The Silver Star Families of America will be there for her
Done, and will continue to do so. On my prayer list.
Will do Freeper
Give her a great big Mama-Grizzly hug from me and I will put her in my book. Prayers of blessing a hundred fold. I will also share her devotion with others. Tears for you, too.
Can we pray that they pave the roads over there soon? I thought some kind of light colored cement would be best.
May the protection of Jesus bring her back home to you.
Praying for your wife. Thank God for those in the medical fields that minister to those in need.
May GOD Bless and Protect her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bless both of you and your family. Prayers and my most sincere thanks...
Will do, and Thank You both for her service. :)

Absolutely! (& for you as well) until she comes home safe. Please thank her for her service (& thank you, if that’s why you’re in Turkey. Please stay safe. That’s earthquake country, there)
(I am going to pray for “American Turk & his wife” unless you want to give me something else- it doesn’t matter what it is as long as it’s clean.)
May Our Almighty Father send his angels to watch over your wife, for her safety, physical and otherwise, and for your wisdom, patience, and strength as well. May He bless you both and strengthen all you have together. I ask this in the Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.

Prayers up for April, and for you.
You got it.
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling
even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
Covering your beloved wife and you with the Word of God, and praying that the hands and hearts of all those who care for America's sons and daughters will be an expression of His love and our prayer for healing.
May it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen ...
