Why does the 1974-78 Mustang II get such a bad rap when it was such a terrific car?
My opinion: Great Expectations.
As heir apparent to the "Mustang heritage" it didn't live up to it's reputation.
Like being the little (bookish)son or brother to the great football hero in the family.
People hear the name but think "huh" when introduced.
