Corrupt people can not tolerate the sight of love and honor in their midst. They must bring everyone down into the gutter with them so they don’t have to face the fact that they are in the gutter by looking at the lady standing on the sidewalk.
This is the ‘educated’ amoral society we have today.

Several older "career" women I know have blurted out, in my presence, their terrible bitterness at their childless state. (Whether they aborted their children, or simply waited too long to try to start a family, I've never asked.)
This confession tends to happen when the topic of my daughter comes up in conversation.
I think many women deeply wish they had a daughter. Sadly, they only fully realize this once they have reached middle age.
