I'm getting closer and closer to believing that we are now just waiting for God to end the world. More and more I find myself HOPING that God will come soon to end all of this. Having two sons makes it even harder because how could I want the end of the world when I have two beautiful sons who I want to watch grow? How can I have two sons grow in this society is also an alarming cause for scare. Our government is making decisions on when it's okay to kill a baby, our president is giving praise to a dictator, for God's sake The Green Lantern is now gay, there's been two cases of one man eating another man in the same week, we have children being raised in homosexual households, marriage is no longer a holy communion. I'm at the point where I don't see a return; our society has lost all moral value. I think this has gone way past who our president is. This has reached a point of losing God in our country. Getting rid of Obama (which would be a HUGE step) will not fix all of the country's problems. We need a spiritual revolution. I don't want to give up on our country, and as God fearing man, I can not give up on our country. Is there any hope left? Yes, but it all rests in God's hands.
The Lord helps those who help themselves. Your attitude implies helplessness, like a child waiting for his mommy to come and rescue him. This isn’t the first time that the world has been set on fire. Just be ready to do your duty when the time comes. Actually, the time is pretty much now.
I’d say that compared to being a Ukranian peasant in 1933, a Polish Jew in 1940, or a Carthaginian in 146 BC things are still pretty spiffy.
Sorry, we don't get to abdicate our responsibility that easily. Quit waiting for God to end it, start acting to fix it. That is our job.
It also rests with Christ within you. Be like the servant who turned one talent into five and make a difference one person at a time.
The only way to change this country is to get involved. Join a local Tea Party group. Find like minded folks at your church. Go to your local PTA meetings. Go to rally’s. Speak your mind. Never give in and don’t give up.
I think he speaks for many, if not all of us.
Bad news, but the end times are going to be a lot worse than what we’re experiencing now.
Maybe it’s time to turn the news off for a while, get around positive people and go talk to your Pastor (or other)
You’d be amazed how your attitude changes when you check out of the news and talk radio for a week or two.
Pretty much take any group from any time in history, and our worst complaints seem pretty spiffy compared to what they dealt with. I am under then belief that people are getting weaker and weaker.

You need to snap out of it, NOW. Call your clergyman and discuss this with him, or call a healthcare worker and discuss it with him. But you are thinking very black thoughts and they may have consequences in your personal life.

Things on this earth are grim. They have always been grim.
But no Black Plague, no marauding armies raping children. So not too terrible here and now.
But keep your guns and anti biotics handy tomorrow may be worse.
I think there are many who feel as you do, the world is not home. sure we can try to bring our faith into everyday life but the reality of man is falling, we cannot concrete the earth and make things better, we cannot just get along without being brutally oppressed, and all other forms of government are corrupt more than our own..
While I agree with do all you can I do think prayer and an eye out for the fruits of the spirit can bring changes the world has never experienced except at the time of Christ..
we need God, man has failed..

Yup, we are spoiled. Previous generations would say “my God, I will take your troubles over mine any time, you spoiled rotten wimps!”
