When you are hear, you must be mindful it is as if wherever you go you have a huge American flag shining on your back. As an eternal Ambassador. Sure, some good times can be had, and Japanese love to drink with Americans and there are limits. But agreed. Nobody with a sane mind crosses over the line and rapes and strangles an Irish female foreign student here caught up in the worst of American gutter culture.

Glad you enjoyed Japan. If you are good to them, the will be more than good to you. But in the case of these two perps, well, let's just say I would not want to be in their shoes, and the Japanese are probably going to house the in a cell with the tallest, biggest, most mean, muscular, incorrible and prison-homosexual or bi-tendencied yakuza prison inmate you can imagine. Oh wow. Hours and hours of unprotected fun.

Our daughter and I were in Tokyo in the summer of 2005, and we had a wonderful time! The people were very friendly, and were even patient with us when we murdered the language trying to speak a few phrases. We’d love to go back sometime.
