the uranium deal involving a host of shady characters
he might have made 130 million or so...
and the media...nothing...not a damn thing except one or two articles that died out
Clinton strokes a dictator/murderer in Kazakhstan, utters some kind words about said killer of 1000s and shady but known ultra liberal Canadian mining magnate and former film studio founder strikes a deal of deals for uranium concessions
yet Reagan was paid 2 million for 2 speeches in Japan and the press howled...Bush I..same howls
Clinton's and Gore's shady business deals and speeches have made both men 10 times richer than either Reagan or Bush and involving truly some despicable influence peddling that borders on illegal if not immoral
and the media...hardly one word.
these are progressives for ya....their money...every liberal I know is less generous than conservatives

Before the internet, conservative talk radio, and Reagan, I remember reading or hearing all the “experts” write and/or talk about the need for raising taxes. Whenever there was a financial crunch, these dimwits would always insist that there simply wasn’t any way around increasing taxes. For everybody. Not one of the big names (other than a rare token conservative like Goldwater or W.F. Buckley) ever said “you know what, we could probably cut a lot of worthless programs.” But I never believe these liberal clowns about anything, and the economy is no different.

"Sure Clinton was a tragically flawed human being but he understood a hell of a lot better what was going on in the country than this complete idiot we have now."
He understood nothing. His policy failings are many, among them, his failure to take the terrorist threat seriously. He and his band of thieves are the reason 9/11 happened.

In order to keep the welfare state going, you need to tax more. And it will get worse. In 1950 there were 16 workers for every retiree; today it is 3.3; and by 2030 it will be two workers for every retiree. And by 2030 one out of every five Americans will be 65 or older, twice what it is now.

One must always question where Clinton's allegiance lies. Remember, there was and still is a bitter battle for control of the Democrat Party between the DLC and the DNC.

Once we get the economy growing again, no one should object to paying more in taxes.' And therein lies the rub, Billy Jeff. The economy is not recovering. Start cutting gov't spending, get the gov't out of business, lower taxes...you might see a good result
