Why the sudden change of heart?
“the sense across the party is that the race has broken in Mourdocks direction throughout Indiana”
Well, Dick Lugar may go down in defeat after 10,000 years in the senate.
Not familiar with the local politics. Could anyone answer this question. Is Lugar going down for policy or is it being 80 and still hanging on beyond his expiration date.
Both
“Is Lugar going down for policy or is it being 80 and still hanging on beyond his expiration date.”
Initially, Lugar was being rejected for his willingness to vote with Democrats, including supporting both of Obama’s Supreme Court nominations. But what really damaged Lugar was when it was revealed that he had not lived in Indiana for 30 years and had reported his residence as a house in Indianapolis that he had sold in the late 1970’s.
Is this because Sarah Palin endorsed his opponent?
Here’s another good sign.
LOL! He even acts like a 'rat with no shame - one or two years but 30 years! Don't these people have friends or family that tell them the wrong they are doing? Not now, but even 15 or 20 years ago?
Looks like the SuperPac put a lugar to Lugar’s political head, and pulled the trigger.
Lugar: A weak RINO at that, and totally useless to America.
Lugar is NOT LOCAL. He lives in Virgina. Hasn’t had a home in Indiana for 30 years. He’s a huge RINO. Does that tell u anything about his policies?
From the article: “The race seems to be slipping away from Lugar and the American Action Network may want to avoid inflicting any more damage on Mourdock, the likely nominee, ahead of what could be a competitive general election race...”
That would be a refreshing change for the R establishment. It’s usually scorched earth against any conservative who dares challenge them.
Notice this PAC packed their bags quickly, after Palin endorsed Mourdock.
That was my first thought too.
It is not for nothing that Richard Ligar has been known at various times as Richard Nixon's favorite Mayor, Riochard Nixon's favorite Senator and Barack Obama's favorite Republican Senator, despite stiff competition (Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Lamar Alexander, Bob Corker, Lindsay Graham, John McCain and so many, many others).
Hopefully there will be full coverage of Lugar's tears and flapdoodle on primary night after he has lost.
Too bad we cannot unload Hatch too.
But this can’t be, the media says the Tea Party is all but through.
Sure will be great to see Lugar and maybe Hatch and a few more RINO turds to be sent packing in primary season.
Hey obammy, we’re coming for your sorry ass real soon ya pos.
We need the Senate RINOS and all.If it gives us the numbers to get some bills voted on from the House...or wold you rather keep Reid controlling the bills. he will not let come to a vote...It's the numbers that set he agenda...we need 51...Rinos and all...JMHO
