That looks like where they filmed ‘633 Squadron’.

What they need to do is add the music score for “633 Squadron” and it would be outstanding!

There's a Flickr group devoted just to photos of aircraft in the Mach Loop:

I've been admiring these guys' work for years. Neat stuff.

If you’re a B-52 pilot, you can do that at 300 kts and 300 ft. AGL.

With the blast curtains drawn so sudden “really bright lights” don’t blind you.

The lake in the videos might look familiar to some...

In 2009 a landscape photograph of the lake was included as an official desktop wallpaper with the release of the Microsoft operating system Windows 7, thus bring an image of the lake to millions of desktop PCs.

It is a beautiful hiking area of Wales just South of Snowdon.

Sorry, forgot to add the name of the lake...

Tal-y-llyn Lake, also known as Talyllyn Lake or Llyn Mwyngil.

As with most Welsh names, almost impossible to pronounce...:^)

No, 633 Squadron was filmed in Scotland, probably a bit “rougher” and ‘scraggier” than Wales.
