That brings back memories. I used one about 40 years ago on a summer job. It looked just like the one in your picture but it had a rotary lawn mower head. It was built like a tank, wish I had one now.

I bet you earned your living pushing one of those around. It is a full time job using the Gravely Super Convertible. I ran a summer time job mowing lawns and used a ‘74 Toro self propelled. I made great money. It even had key start. Bought a Snapper key start 10 years ago just to relive the dream. Still have it. Just not the same. I think it is because I am getting old and sitting on something is really more fun.
