Reportedly, she is Justice Scalia's best buddy on the Court:
“I consider myself a good friend of every one of my colleagues, both past and present,” Scalia told Laura [Ingraham]. “Some more than others. My best friend on the Court is and has been for many years, Ruth Ginsburg. Her basic approach is not mine, but she’s a lovely person and a good loyal friend.”
I wonder what she thought when Scalia joked that ordering his clerks to read the Obamacare law would violate the Eighth Amendment.
“A hard leftist [Justice Ginsburg] may be, but she is also a Jew. I believe that notwithstanding her political leanings, she sees Obama for what he is, a Muslim sympathizer at the least, or an outright Muslim, period. As a Jew, I sense she will not provide a him the opportunity or satisfaction of filling “her seat”. I sense that, deep down, she despises him, and is determined to outlast him...”
The rumors of a 7-2 beatdown of Obamacare must be true then.
