Here is a Good One to let soak in, Think about it ...
Paradoxical Quote of The Day From Ben Stein:
"Fathom the Hypocrisy of a Government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen."
One does not need to prove he/she is a citizen of US to live here. I came here on a student visa, got my graduate degree, was hired by a large corporation who sponsored me for permanent resident status (aka green card). Then I was eligible for citizenship after a waiting period of 5 years. So I was in US almost 10 years without citizenship, studying and working.
I think what the author means is one does not need to prove he/she is a citizen to VOTE, but must prove one has health insurance if you live here.
Makes for a good tagline for someone.....I like Ben overall - I just wish his conservative positions were more consistent with conservatives.
“Fathom the Hypocrisy of a Government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen.”
OR WHAT THEIR VOTING IDENTITY/STATUS IS!!!
the friend of my enemy is also my enemy....
go soak your head Benny...just because you once in a while say something good doesn't remove all the crap you did in supporting Al Freakin the animal to the Senate...
Ben Stein in the Feb. 2007 issue of The American Spectator eviscerates Obama:
"...what is this insanity about Barack Obama? He's nobody. Nothing. Just a small town ward heeler who has already been busted taking bribes, has no experience at all -- NONE -- on the world stage or in defense or anything else. Could we be crazy enough to even consider him as president? Have we gone totally nuts? Hillary is a responsible politician with broad experience. I do not want to see her elected, but she's Winston Churchill compared to Obama."

“Batches?” “We don’t need no stinkin’ batches.”
