Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos agreed to terms of a five-year, $33 million deal, including $8.7 million guaranteed.I wouldn't worry about Tebow, since he doesn't drink, gamble and whore around, he probably still has most of his money from 2010.
He'll either get another contract in the NFL or he'll go on to do other things and with his faith and belief in God, Tim Tebow will do just fine.

It's more likely because Tebow isn't a very good quarterback. Terry Bradshaw was a terrible quarterback his first year or two in the NFL and look at how great he turned out to be.

They should keep him just for his running ability. :)

Well, given your take, Peyton will make a good backup for Tebow!
Heh.

Agreed, Denver just through 96 million bucks down the drain, Payton cannot play outdoors, hates the cold, cant take a sack worth squat (is in fact afraid to be hit). Im going to enjoy watching Denver get powned !!! The guy that will lose the most, if it becomes clear early on Peyton isn't working out (for whatever reason), is John Elway. His stature in Broncoland will be tarnished greatly. He will be seen as a great QB who is way in over his head as a Bronco front office executive.
Conversely, if Peyton takes the Broncos deep into the play offs his first season, or to the SB ... Elway will look like a genius. Elway was always a gunslinger ... hope it works out for him.

I don't see how Elway comes out a genius either way. It doesn't take genius to recruit/hire what was, and may still be, a great quaterback. But I truly believe your first option is much more likely.

liberals attacking a devout Christian because of his beliefs
it’s time to strike back
call the broncos. let them know you will be BOYCOTTING any advertisers and sponsors they have.
call any advertisers and explain to them you are BOYCOTTING their products as the broncos support religious persecution against Christians
if any ‘news’ organization reports the incident with glee, do the same to it and it’s advertisers.
THEN ... recommend your friends do the same. tell them to get two friends to also do the same. repeat
WE outnumber THEM ... MAKE IT HURT

I was a big Sonny Jurgenson fan, so I tended to be down on Bill Kilmer... But I have to admit, he kind of grew on you. He threw many a wounded duck for a pass, but he got the job done. After a while he became my second favorite quarterback (... but that that was before I moved to the Bay Area and eventually Joe Montana and Steve Young took over the top of my list of favorite quarterbacks).

The salary cap is 120 million, Peyton is making 28 million, Tim is making 8. That means tying up 36 million for 1 position where both players won’t be on the field at the same time. It’s the same math as why the Colts got rid of Peyton.

Drew would make a great backup to Tebow.

I am a big drew stanton fan... he got screwed in detroit... i think they kept him so no other team could get their hands on him... the boy can ball, and with a little work is a starting caliber qb in the nfl....
