RIP, Andrew Breitbart.

At a press conference today, Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona, said, "Based on all of the evidence, I cannot in good faith report to you these documents are authentic." He was speaking about Obama's long-form birth certificate.

A bomb squad has responded to a report of a suspicious package at Rush Limbaugh's home.

With all the tornados and nasty weather, time for another check in ping.

Hope you all are safe and well.

I made it ok. It was hairy for a while, but most of the damage was east of here.

Took Dad out on the town today. Mom and dad were married 4-4-40. He’s been a bit sad, but we had a wonderful day in the rain. Red Lobster, Sam’s Club. OOOhs and Ahhs over the budding trees, searching for the calves in the fields, spotting wild flowers blooming in the woods, stopping for ice cream, singing along to songs written a hundred years ago and knowing all the words cause he taught them to me as a child. A wonderful blessed day......I’m exhausted.

Glad to hear your safe Johnny!

We survived the Wisconsin primary. Interestingly enough, Rick Santorun took 46 of the 72 counties in Wisconsin. Not enough to overtake Rommney, but I am happy with the showing.

What a great day with your dad. I remember as a child my dad playing the piano and we would all gather around and sing. He and mom would sing “Shanty in Shanty Town” (my title, maybe not the right one) and would segue into “Put On Your Old Gray Bonnet”. Good Times.

We have a skylight in the living room. We were sitting with a friend and having the nicest chat, when all of a sudden the day turned to twilight and there was a huge crashing sound coming from the skylight. WOW, was it ever loud. Thankfully the huge hail balls were not all that hard and they travelled elsewhere in about a minute. It was an experience. Some lovely rain then set in and it was nice for the gardens.

The horrible tornado cells dropping in and around the Dallas sure tore some places up. I was concerned about johnny, but have since seen his posts and learned he suffered some anxious moments. Happy he’s ok.

That is great. I have some of my garden up and growing. I planted a bunch of carrots yesterday, am pulling radishes and soon some onions. Isn’t gardening fun?

I’m in the process of beginning a community garden. We have the land cleared, now it needs to be root plowed and hills and paths made for the volunteers to plant their seeds. Eventually I’d like to see raised gardens, of all shapes and sizes made with various materials. We live on a mound of black clay, so when the weather is dry, the ground is like concrete, and I won’t mention when it’s wet.
