Run for your lives! CCTV captures moment drinker with a CHAINSAW storms into pub and attacks customers

Photobucket

Drinkers were forced to flee for their lives when a drug-fuelled maniac burst into their pub and lunged at them with a chainsaw just minutes after he was thrown out for smoking.

Dean Dinnen, 24, charged into The Endyke pub in Hull, armed with the petrol-driven chainsaw to exact revenge on a fellow customer who forced him to put out his cigarette.

As he marched up to the door of the pub with the chainsaw running he turned and jabbed it towards passer-by who ran to get out of his way.

And once inside the pub customers were forced to defend themselves with bar stools as Dinnen lashed out.

Dinnen was only stopped after customers managed to overpower him with chairs, bar stools and pool cues. The man he was looking for had actually left before his return.

Prosecutor Jharna Jobes said Dinnen was drunk at the pub and was escorted out by a man who objected to him smoking and told him to stop.

The male took him outside and Dinnen claimed he beat him up. He then returned home to find the chainsaw.

'He returned to the car park with the chainsaw,' said Ms Jobes. 'He had it in front of him He was revving the chain saw up and frightening people.

'He then entered the pub. But the man he was looking for had gone.

'A separate fight in the pub was coming to an end in which Mr Pryor was going to the assistance of his friend.'

Dinnen brought the pub to a standstill with customers falling over themselves to escape as he walked around the bar revving and swinging the chainsaw.

When chainsaws are outlawed only outlaws will have chainsaws.

More evidence proving we need a complete ban on chainsaws!

Well, if his fellow customer didn’t like his cigarette smoke, he’s really gonna be upset about chain saw exhaust.

Drinking hours in English pubs are short enough as it is, these days, without interrupting them with this kind of nonsense. And just when the dart game was reaching its climax, too!

When in serious doubt about a moral question, I ask myself, 'What would Jerry Clower do'?

And I think he addressed this issue pretty well.

Sure there were folk that got out of his way, but there was a sizeable element that went at him with stools. Looked like one fellow was throwing a trash bin or empty keg at him repeatedly. A whole mob gave chase to the crazy bastid.

My kind of neighborhood pub.

During the last third of the video you can see what appears to be a female approaching the pub with a drink cup in her hand standing and watching the action. A Pink Panther moment.

Well, I can now see a reason to supplant my electric chainsaw with a petrol fired one. It’d save on 12 ga. ammo costs while running around intimidating folks.

Looks like my theories on how to avoid multiple posts under the current server conditions need some revisions.

Since my name is John and I did my fair share of coon hunting when I was younger, you can guess what phrase I heard over and over on those midnight hunts.
