I'd rather roll in stinky, sticky stuff!

Can you explain to me why that is? ;)

When I was young, my brother had a dog that if he escaped, he would be gone for several days and when he returned you KNEW where he had been. (We lived very rural and there was a slaughter house about a mile away. He loved that place!) But, he hated the bath that followed his little outing! lol

Good afternoon, Conor!

That is such a beautiful, peaceful looking place. Wish I had a get-a-way such as that is! There's probably one around here somewhere...I just don't know about it! :)

Hope your day, work part almost over, is going smoothly! PT went OK (last night?) for you?

Hi, Teenie! PT was particularly grueling last night. I took the day off today - had an appointment with my pulmonologist this morning. I've been having a lot of shortness of breath the last few weeks. He has ordered a series of tests, which I will have done tomorrow.

I hope you're having a good day.

That is a little scary. It can be caused by so many different things and many places (nose, throat, mouth, chest, lungs).

Prayers it is nothing serious. You have had such a series of problems of late. You need to catch a break real soon!

My day is going well...my only problem is allergies and that's a year round thing that many of us just learn to live with. :)

Just checking in and saw your post. Thank you, teenie, I appreciate it and I do hate to complain but some days are worse than others in life!

I sure haven’t accomplished anything today but it doesn’t matter as it always waits I’ve found....LOL! I did a lot yesterday so went into a slump today!

Sorry you’ve had so many problems lately, Conor.

Doctors are very particular anymore if you’re going to have any kind of surgery to check everything out because of putting you to sleep. I went through something similar about 6-1/2 years ago. I had to have all kinds of breathing tests the way you’re doing. And you won’t believe that because I had an angioplasty about 20 years before (no stints at all) that my surgeon made me have a cardiac catherization. I almost backed out of the surgery. I had to go in the hospital for the cath and then go back into the hospital the next week for the surgery.

Prayers that everything turns out A-OK! And I think it will!

By the way, I enjoyed your scripture you’ve added to the bottom of your posts!

Thanks very much, Jaycee. I very much appreciate your thoughts and prayers - Lord knows, I need them! I just hope this is nothing major - I'm only 64 years old and, quite frankly, I'm not ready to die yet.

In light of Obama's war on Christianity, implemented through that heinous pro-abortion regulation, I felt compelled to add a pro-life scripture passage. It, or an appropriate alternate passage, will remain for as long as necessary. I've also prepared a new graphic - Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel - an apt prayer for these iniquitous times.

Anything waiting will continue to wait and won't yell at you for not getting to it! :)

Today was stew making day here...smells good but I can't seem to get the house warm! It feels like no heat going at all! Of course, outside is so ugly with damp fog and freezing temps! (I don't enjoy rain but it's better than what we have today!) brrrrrr

This was my facebook update concerning my visit to the NYSDOT meeting/presentation. Prayers!!!!

WOW! Things went GREAT!!!! There were 30 people and after the presentation we went down to the garage where I was able to give them a demonstration with the mixer running it forward and reverse. I think we sold some mixers today, the bridge crews really liked our little mixer. Some of them were even talking about designs they wanted to add to it... All’s good here in Utica! Now to drive around the thruway and visit them and DOT’s across the North East.
