Warren Beatty was said to be devastated when his teenaged daughter confessed she wanted to be a man.
But it seems the Dick Tracy star is coming to terms with the bombshell, as he is said to have toasted his 'brave son' at a special family dinner in Hollywood on Saturday.
The legendary ladies man is trying to solidify his relationship with Stephen, who was previously called Kathlyn, according to the National Enquirer.
And a source told the tabloid the special family meal at Italian restaurant il Covo was a way to publicly give his support to the 19-year-old, who decided she wanted to switch genders last year, but had been living as a man for at least two years previously .
The source said: 'The dinner was an unofficial public display that he's proud of his family, especially Stephen, for having the courage to be who he truly is.
'It wasn't easy for Warren. But he learned a lot about the transgender community over the past year.'
And as a result the 74-year-old is now bragging to friends about his 'intelligent and courageous son Stephen.'
The source added: 'Warren even made an emotional toast to Stephen during the dinner and said he was proud to have such a brave son.

The cornbelt (and soybeans as well) was nearly a big crop flop last summer. A couple of marginal rains made the difference, and the dry conditions caused many corn plants to just flat die, but only after filling out the ears. The normal maturing, drydown and death of the plants was probably faster than many farmers had ever seen. It was real close. I find myself horribly conflicted when I read stories like these; on the one hand, we have group of people who ostensibly, like any family, love each other. They are parents and children, same as any. They want each other’s attention, affection, and to spend time with each other. On the other hand, they have more than a few challenges to spending time together, or paying attention to each other than most of us do. Throw in a few gallons of liberal “ethics,” all the scheduling nightmares of two parents earning a living in movies, the generally seamy side of Hollywood, and children can find the unconventional means of “finding themselves,” attractive.
I say this without malice or snideness, but out of sincere compassion. I cannot imagine, outside of feeble intellectual exercise, what must have gone through either parents’ mind when this was broached to them. I can say that I truly hope to never hear those words myself. The idea that someone might be so deeply unhappy as to try this method to refashion their outer self, and imagine they are a new person, makes me sad for the parents, and sadder still for the child.
No amount of surgery changes chromosomes, and no matter how displeased, this child will always be a girl. That is a fact one can’t run from eternally. I’m not saying that this falls completely in the pocket of having famous parents, or just Hollywood weirdness, or liberalism run amok. It’s a tragedy, though.
Warren may have been a cad in his youth; I don’t know. I still wouldn’t want one of my daughters to do this. Would you?

These sad people end up with more problems than they started with, the suicide rates are very bad. So, now she had a flop on DWTSs, where one of the judges really came down hard on her. She has broken up with her "girlfriend". I'm waiting for the news item that she has killed herself.
This type of radical intervention (mutilation is a good word for it) does not really help with anything but surface stuff. It is the easy way out. Yet, we are supposed to "celebrate" their "bravery".

i was just asking if he answered to you. nobody said God answered to them, they were just wondering and that is not insinuating that God answers to them, and i was thinking maybe the same question was ask in the destroyed cities, after all it is history.
