A Long Island man was stunned to find out that his 4-year-old twins werent an accidental pregnancy at all his desperate girlfriend secretly stashed away his sperm and used it for an in-vitro procedure, he charges in a lawsuit.
Elmont resident Joseph Pressil, 36, wasnt planning on having children with Anetria Burnett, with whom he was in a relationship for six months in 2007, he said.
So she took matters into her own hands, he told The Post, in order to remain in his Texas house and make a legal bid for half of his possessions.
-snip-
The real bombshell dropped last February, when Pressil got a strange receipt in the mail for sperm cryopreservation.
Confused, he called the company that had sent him the paperwork, which referred him to the Advanced Fertility Center of Texas, where a manager asked him to sign a release form.
Thats when he said he uncovered the bizarre plot.
She was taking [the semen in condoms] after the fact and running down to the clinic with it, said Jason Gibson, who is representing Pressil in his suit. He now has joint custody.

She stole my sperm!
If condoms were all he was using, it wasn’t very goofproof against a pregnancy anyhow. She could have just given him some old condoms.
People who mess around with “mother nature” deserve what they get.
Gee, that's totally not a warning sign.
I HATE it when girlfriends freeze my sperm and have my children later. It’s very inconvenient.
It's the icepacks in my underwear that really get me annoyed.
No kidding!
MEN deserve - on the basis of their being male - without any respect to their concerns, desires or other high-faluttin' issues (they are after all else men, correct?), undesired children and women as wives that'd rather be regents in days gone by.
Its only fair I tell ya...
“So she took matters into her own hands..”
I can’t help but smirk at that statement.
If he’d taken matters into his own hands he wouldn’t be in this picklement.
On a celestial level, yes. God says dance with the devil, don’t be surprised if you get burnt. (She has her own onus of blame too, but the guy should have known better.)
No "cryopreservation", but an overly helpful offer to dispose of a used condom is usually involved.
Damn, dude. What the hell were you thinking?
Dating a stripper is like playing Russian Roulette, but not nearly as safe.
It wasn’t what he was thinking, it was what he was thinking with.
He really deserved this, people?
Don’t we talk about people using condoms to be responsible?
How could he have prevented this? He’d have to be looking at her like she was insane to even consider she was doing this. How can you possibly keep dating or have a chance to fall in love with a woman if you have to look at every one of them you’re dating as possibly pulling a stunt like this?
All you people would have called him paranoid.
How do you say no sex to a woman you are dating, who wants to have sex with you? For six months? Seriously.
Using condoms is 100% clear the guy does not want children. Come on. Keeping it in the pants is not going to keep the woman dating you and all of you know it. Just try rejecting your girlfriends’ advances for 6 months if she wants sex. See if you have her as a girlfriend saying “no” all that time.
“but the guy should have known better.)”
Really? He should have known that a woman would take a used condom (a pretty good indicator the guy did not want kids) and get the sperm out of it, take it to a lab, have it frozen, then use it to inseminate herself?
And how does a sperm bank accept and then release sperm without the donors consent? Sounds like someone needs to sue, the ex and the cryogenic facility.
I guess I’m an old fuddy duddy about adultery, but hey.
Bop you over the head with a bible. First courtship and marriage, then the sex. Doing something like this screws your soul, pardon my French.
Brings new meaning to the phrase cold cocked.
How could he have prevented it? He could keep his sperm to himself? He could avoid strippers? He could marry before he does the deed? He could be old-fashioned and responsible in the old-fashioned sense of the word? He could find a respectable woman?
Oh, PUHLEEAASE!
What, are you still living in Mommy & Daddy’s basement with your WiFi connection, because no sane woman will have you?
“Let those among you without sin cast the first stone.”
Hope you went to confession today since you think yourself to be spotless, Pal.
What a maroon.
Women...wouldn’t put anything past them. I had a “friend” call me one time...her husband was actually my husband’s platoon leader. Husband was the platoon sergeant. She wanted to tell her husband she was taking the pill, but not really....she wanted to pretend so she could get pregnant again...lie to him in short. She wanted another kid, he didn’t and doesn’t. They have 2. I told her you lie to him to get pregnant and he finds out, your marriage is over. The truth always comes out.
The Bible says what it says and I am not ashamed to tell that to you “OH, PUHLEEEEEZEmen.”
It’s just plain stupid, unwise, idiotic, moronic, foolish, doltish, asinine, etc. etc. to test-sex a girl before marriage. This is not like buying a car and God designed and created humanity and has the right to set the conditions under which he will bless or curse.
So take your OH, PUHLEEEEEEZE and stuff it.
Oh, and I need not throw any stone. People who do this end up throwing a lot of stones at themselves and each other, just fine. If you’re irritated that I’m warning you, then go complain to God about it. Maybe you can get God to be all urbane just like you!
Doesn't sound like a great loss to me. Of course, I'm from an era where fornication was considered wrong, and more people saved themselves for holy marriage. It was nothing like this immoral, modern free for all where people change mates like they change underwear. I guess people nowadays equate dating with sex. That's their choice, but there ARE real world repercussions for immoral behavior.
On the other hand, the guy didn't deserve this, but getting burnt isn't unexpected when one plays with fire. Exotic dancing isn't a profession like any other, and gentlemen clubs aren't really for gentlemen. That's why many exotic dancers have drug problems, prostitute themselves, etc. It's not a noble profession. It's an industry that feeds on the basest human desires.
Here's a good rule of thumb. NEVER, EVER sleep with a woman you are unwilling to raise children with.
If American is going to succeed with it's experiment in self government, citizens must accept responsibility for their action. Another instance of "don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
“picklement”
Good word!
The children will pay the price for their parents’ fornication.
Good advice.
I have no right to condemn anyone for sin. We're all sinners. What I can do is explain that sin has negative results and recommend, like you, that people behave wisely.
We invest incredible amounts of time, effort and money in sexual sin mitigation techniques, but the results are not foolproof. Birth control, penicillin, abortion, AIDS drugs, etc., cannot fix every possible negative result of sexual sin. That's doesn't stop people from trying, but wouldn't it be easier to simply avoid the sin in the first place?
Women have all the power in deciding whether to have children these days. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard this tale — women going behind a guy’s back and circumventing whatever birth control method is used to trap him into either marriage or at least child support.
To level the playing field, we need a male contraceptive implant. Something that stops production of sperm for several years. Having a child is too important an event for it to happen without clear intent to raise it together. Every male should get such an implant at puberty and only have it removed when in a long term stable relationship, with both financial means and intent to begin a family.
That must have been easier when people married at 12 - 13, eh ?
“During the first century, however, it appears to have been the general rule that young people who were “of age” could arrange their own marriages. A girl was considered of age at twelve years and one day. The Jewish rabbis set the minimum age for marriage at twelve years for the girl, and thirteen years for the boy. A boy should certainly be wed by the time he was eighteen to twenty. “

LoL.. could be title to a country western song..
With all due respect: there really are women out there who don’t want what’s in your pants without a ring on their finger. It’s called ‘commitment’ and doing things the old-fashioned way. Get to know either other mentally, spiritually, character-wise first. Try churches and other houses of worship to find such women rather than try picking up someone in a bar = you’ll have better odds. I did not have sex before I married, and I was in my 50s. I was looking for the right guy, and we finally found each other.
I have no complaints, personally, about society permitting consensual marriages at biblically young ages. I don’t mean Koran which was plain warped with its 6 year old child brides and such. But when well into puberty. 12 or 13 for a girl, 13 or 14 for a boy. They (typically the boy) also undertook to support the spouse through a trade at that age. None of this living in parents’ basements.
But not all biblical marriages occurred at the earliest possible date, and yet the love smitten suitor somehow managed to behave himself until the night of the wedding day. And the folks in the lead story were how old??? They were clearly playing around, not just a case of can’t wait.
The way they are today, where ranches have been replaced with raunches, this is very plausible....
The point is that in Biblical times it was possible for a man to be established in a trade and capable of supporting a family within just a few years of puberty.
That is not true today in America. Most people would consider it irresponsible for Americans to marry as teenager. People today typically have an extra decade of hormone driven temptation to deal with before they feel prepared to begin a family. Asking them to remain chaste for a decade is very different from Biblical times.
All of which if granted for hypothetical argument’s sake doesn’t explain the shenanigans in the lead story.
Immorality bites in a lot of ways. Being responsible would be NOT fornicating.
For the record, you’re 100% right.
“we need a male contraceptive implant.”
Couple of tight rubber bands? 8^)
Exotic dancer, that’s a nice stable personality.
Perfect for saddles, bits, and a rein.
Wrong stable?
Every exotic dancer I’ve had the displeasure of being accosted by has been exceedingly fake in their outward demeanor, they are usually expert manipulators.
You want MORALIZING, wait till little jeremiah finds this thread. I’m just saying what the Creator likes and doesn’t like, according to what humanity has been told... human life really does not make full sense until it’s put into perspective with its Creator (and now also Savior). God was not being some goofball when he made humans separate from the beasts. It’s what C. S. Lewis called “the intolerable compliment” paid by God. People (and I am included) are not comfortable with this amount of love from God, and in their current state are disposed to want less, not more.
The crony clinic is the criminal-enabler.
Can you imagine a ‘medical’ center accepting blood donations in plastic bags from ‘walk-in’ donors?
Another example of IVF insanity.
He played stupid games, won stupid prizes.
Leftists talk about using condoms as being responsible.
Conservatives talk about diseases promiscuity can spread many of which are not preventable by using a prophylactic. Chlamydia is one of those and it often leaves women infertile for the rest of their lives.
In addition, condoms have a ten percent failure rate at best, greater than that if the couple are young jackhammers with legs.
So back to your question about how could the guy have prevented this?
I believe the word is “chastity.”
Once upon a time, when personal responsibility had value that was practiced.
The man isn't a victim here. If there is a victim, its the two kids.
Simple application solution,
Kids happen...
Society still does allow marriages that young but it requires consent of both the underage person’s guardians and a presiding judge. Look at age of consent laws and read the whole statutes.
As an earlier poster pointed out it is much harder to be established in employment at that age, although it is not impossible I guess especially if one of the pair is old enough to drive.
This wasn’t two kids though, and whineyboy was 32 going on 15 when this happened.
Most conservatives do not know that the same Supreme Court, in the same term, that decided Roe v. Wade decided the equally revolutionary Gomez v. Perez (409 U.S. 535), which nullified the bastardy statutes of all 50 states and altered the common law of millennia regarding a man's obligations to his children.
Just as 38 years of unrestricted abortion has changed our nation, so has the revolutionary idea that the solemn obligations of a married man to his wife and his children can be contracted with a slut in the bathroom of a bar in a moment of foolishness.
A man undertakes the MORAL obligation to support the children of his wife's body when he marries her before witnesses and God, as a reciprocal to her obligation to bear only his children.
When pumping and dumping a slut, no such obligation has EVER existed, not in the entire history of the human race, until the Roe court announced this OTHER revolution in 1973.
Conservatives should be as outraged about this as they are about the Roe decision.
“I will never forget it, ya know ... One day I walked into our television room and there I found my boyfriend Ernie amusing... I mean abusing himself with his private parts. I said to him, ‘Ernie, stop that right now! Save it for when we’re married!’ Well the next week I walked into that very same television room and there was the very same Ernie amu...abusing himself with his private parts! I said, ‘Ernie! Didn’t I tell you to cut it out and save it for when we’re married?’ He said to me, ‘Soph, I am! So far I’ve got a pint and a half!’”
