Want to See Stephen Colbert Interview Protesters After Dressing as Che Guevara?
The Blaze ^ | 11/1/11 | Billy Hallowell

After hilariously taking a trip down to Occupy Wall Street dressed as Che Guevara, Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert interviewed two protesters in his “penthouse suite overlooking Zuccoti Park.” Colbert took the limo down to Zuccotti Park dressed as Che Guevera, so he could blend in. But soon after he arrived, those corporate masters on Wall Street decided to unleash a thunderstorm onto the protesters and Colbert, who fought back with the best means at their disposal: a dance party.

In his dialogue with the protesters (which happened after the dance party), Colbert attempts to better understand the protest movement, while looking for a way to take it over and to use it to spread his own message. At one point, he tells the Occupiers: ”You guys seem like a cult.”

The only use for Colbert I can think of would be to drop him from a VERY tall building onto John Stuart. Or Jon Stewart. Ot However the jagov spells his name. Make a nice stew for the OWS faithful.

I concur. Colbert’s segment was genius in its mockery.

Don’t take my word as gospel, but from what little bit I’ve seen of him, he’s a Liberal masquerading as a conservative. Sometimes he drives a point home, and sometimes I can’t tell if he’s just being sarcastic. I’m not sure what to make of him. Maybe I’ll see if I can find out more on Google or wikipedia when I get off work and home.

I'm not sure if he's brilliant. The moonbats he interviews may have their lights on, but neither one of them is home.

Easy pickings for a standup comedian.

No thanks. I’ll leave that up to the smarmy bastards on the left.

If he's like most commentators in the MSM he is neo-liberal. He likes the idea that most commerce is conducted by private businesses, but he wants to make sure that it is taxed and regulated sufficiently to assuage his guilt, but not so much that there isn't enough money left over to pay his salary.

OWS may appeart to neo-liberals as being to leftist, i.e. anti-corporation.

Neo-liberals can't make nearly as much money in a purely socialist economy. They also tend to prefer steak and wine to lentils and herbal tea.

I would probably get in so much trouble if I lived where Colbert lives and those windows are the kind you can open...

He’s not a conservative, but I think he does enjoy pointing out the hypocrisy and simple minded idealism of the socialists.
