Is there a list of cities with #OccupyWeMuch actions ongoing, or scheduled?
I'm too lazy to compile the numbers of occupiers from the tissue-thin news reports, but a list of cities with demonstrations would help me start counting.
Fellow Freepers?
They could occupy a shower.
LOl...about 100 of them “occupied” Dallas....5 million people in Dallas could have cared less.
Occupy DC
Occupy Houston
Occupy Tampa
Occupy Charlotte
Occupy Boston
Occupy California
About 50 occupy Salt Lake City, but they had to move today from Pioneer Park to accomodate a local farmer’s market. LOL
Hell (Michigan)-or at least they should.
Heard this was a fake. Somebody messing with the messers.
There is an “Occupy Richmond”.
They’re about 200 in Chicago.
These folks might have a clue, but I haven’t looked. It might not like my Corporate Windows.

Why not a Brew Tea Everywhere?
AKA, The City of Evil. Corning is also mentioned. Both in Upstate NY.
50 or so “occupied” Columbus a few nights ago. The local TV news didn’t even bother sending crews, lol.
Does this help?

Upstate NY again.
California is not a city, but Sacramento, CA can be added.
Occupy Ithaca? Isn’t that redundant?
Rather than cities, why not square feet. Some of these cities have few ‘protesters’ than folks shopping at Dillards...
I think there has been some slime occupying Seattle. I never paid much attention. Of course, with the Seattle weather, all we get is slime and slugs. But, maybe that’s a good thing, it could keep the oder down.
LOL. It is.
Occupy Uranus.
Occupy Obama’s Gubmint. Now how does THAT sound? With signs saying “Whoever authorized Fast & Furious is an Accessory to Murder”.
Just go to Facebook and do a search. If you put in occupy, populates with a bunch of different cities.
That’ll do...
the OccupyTogether website lists 1179 “Occupy Communities” worldwide!
There’s one guy who’s gonna occupy a city park in Grass Valley, CA Sunday. This park is surrounded...
by Banks!
BofA, Chase, and a local bank...
Some in Indy today, Veteran’s Plaza no less, the gall. On news indicated a meeting at the library in Fort Wayne Monday at 5 PM.
Portland-5,000(actually less than 1,000)
Seaside-100(a contact said maybe 30)
Eugene-no numbers available(picture showed 50)
unconfirmed that Oregon City, Gresham, Coos Bay,and Medford protests even took place as planned. Given that the progressives habitually overestimate anything they do, no bragging means there was nothing to brag about.
You're right it's actually a bankrupt banana republic, but anyway here is a link to their demonstation information site:
Occupy California
It lists links to 1,035 cities.....e.g. Anchorage · 10/08 Camarillo · 10/08 San Diego · 10/08 Eugene · 10/08 Idaho Falls · 10/08 Tempe · 10/08 Winters · 10/08 Albuquerque · 10/08 St. Louis · 10/08 Las Vegas · 10/08 Fort Myers · 10/08 Baltimore · 10/08 Sao Paulo · 10/08 Sarasota · 10/09 Savannah · 10/09 Bradenton · 10/09 Indiana · 10/09 Koekelberg · 10/09 Richland · 10/09 Concord · 10/09 Sioux Falls · 10/09 Tampa · 10/09 Grass Valley · 10/09 Chapel Hill · 10/09 Denton · 10/09 Omaha · 10/09 Des Moines · 10/09 Grand Rapids · 10/09 Allentown · 10/09 San Jose · 10/09 Los Angeles · 10/09 Reading · 10/09 Tucson · 10/09 Canton · 10/09 Red Bluff · 10/09 Amherst · 10/09 Eureka · 10/09 Bartlesville · 10/09 Edmonton · 10/09 Burlington · 10/09 Kansas City · 10/09 Rochester · 10/09 .etc
Less than a dozen people showed up for the second day of Occupy Tampa.
Which I suspect won’t allow them to occupy a very large area of the city.
I’m going to start an Occupy My Remnants In The Toilet Bowl group....
Bartlesville?
bizarre
They may get a very nasty surprise if they try to occupy some parts of the south.
“People might ask why the government is allowing this nonsense to continue. They will allow it to fester and get larger until there is such a clamor for something to be done they can shut all forms of dissent down including the Tea Party.”
Interesting point.
I don’t know what people’s reactions will be. I think in city areas many will be sympathetic to them, but in country areas they will be joked about. As long as they remain “all hat” so to speak, I think they’ll be tolerated.
There was one in SanFran...you know, Nancy Pelosi’s district...but riot police dismantled it.
On October 15,in support of Van Jones, there will be an “Occupy Ashland,Ky”.
The white protestors need to occupy Gratiot Ave in Detroit.
I agree there are some neighborhoods in Detroit those liberal white people should occupy for social justice, how many would make it out uninjured is another question.
They had one on Portland Oregon this last week, but they were only granted one day for the protest.
The following was reported on a local news site that I follow. It is a typical example of the kind of stuff we have to put up with in our local schools. This young lady also gave an interview on a local conservative news station. She was very articulate well spoken. It was refreshing to hear about a young person that actually stood up to her teacher about his request for students to attend the rally so they could get extra credit points. I have to give her credit for requesting that he also give extra credit points to her for attending a conservative rally. I fund it interesting that it wasn’t until the next day after she asked a second time to receive credit for attending a conservative rally, that the teacher finally said he would do so.

There’s one in Bakersfield, CA. A world-class financial capitol (?), I’m sure it makes a lot of sense to do a Wall St. protest there.
He was handing out leaflets but didn't seem to be getting much attention - too much other interesting music and stuff going on...:^)
The free concert at the renovated art-deco Fox theater with an Elvis singer and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra was great.
