I hated Hyori. Rotten, loud-mouthed brat. She can definitely take the blame.
Neanderthal tooth quantity/size in a Modern Human skull/mouth?
Actually, "yaeba" is the cry of pain that Japanese men make when one of those sharp canines comes into play during an act that is known in Japan as a "Rewinsky."
Yes but would Godzilla approve?
THAT is about what my teeth looked like at age 16....my parents couldn’t afford braces....but...I got them myself when I was about 20! AAAggghhh...to think that someone would WANT to look like that!
I’ll bet there’s a connection
You probably cheered when she went on Gin’s rapid weight-loss plan didn’t you? You wouldn’t be the only one lol.
You can find the cluster at Dalarna ~ you get to that town and go East or West for hundreds of miles and you are cross country skiing on the classic boundary between the Norse and the Sa'ami.
So, the big teeth thing ~ there are a bunch of studies regarding Sa'ami tooth size. It seems they are larger now than in the past but have been even bigger in the ancient past. It has to do with diet ~ best anyone can figure access to veggies makes your teeth larger if your a Sa'ami.
The main place for studying teeth is right there in the Dalarna region.
Next question ~ do Sa'ami have all their wisdom teeth? The answer is it depends on where they live and what they eat. It's like Eskimos (also a Yakuts close relation). As you grow up tooth buds form in the forward part of the gum and move to the rear of your mouth. If you get involved in chewing leather (to make clothes or harness straps) what will happen is you'll destroy some of those tooth buds and end up without wisdom teeth.
At the same time if you are Sa'ami you have an 18% chance of having really crooked overlapping teeth, and additional missing teeth! I assure you that's HEREDITARY.
I wonder what the Hungarians thought of those Sa'ami miners the Swedes sent into the Carpathian Mountains in the 1600 and 1700s? (The tales of the vampires who drank blood arose in the Carpathians about then.)
For a long time I thought the Swedes were studying Norse with the extra large teeth, but it looks more like they were studying a mixed population.
seems like read about some people having an extra set of wisdom teeth once...call them second wisdom teeth. I can’t remember which ethnicity. I could be wrong, but I thought it was common for east asians to never get wisdom teeth.
Forgot to chime in on this one, thought I did.
I would go as far as to suggest that this should not be legal!
This is on par with tattoos - WHY?
Why ruin your looks on purpose?
caps can be removed...i don’t know if this qualifies as being permanent.
I suppose...although tats can sorta be removed...
