As a Browns fan, and partisan of downtrodden franchises, I applaud your prediction!

By “old Lions” I assume you’re not referring to Buddy Parker’s Joe Schmidt, Bobby Lane, Doak Walker, Yale Lary, Less Bingaman, et al.

That's too far back.
Anything or anybody worth mention between then and now is just Billy Sims, and Barry Sanders. Unless you count tackling Gale Sayers, which was about when I first became a Lions fan.

It's all about now! The lions no longer suck. There is a God in heaven, but tickets range from $200 to $1495 each.

Is this the future? Was it better price wise when they sucked?

Lots of Lion fans are going to have a digestible Thanksgiving dinner this year.

Thanks madison10.

The Lions aren't the "same old Lions" any longer. That was a good game, and kudos to the Vikings for A) not giving up (they've taken on that "second half collapse" mantle now, totally unfair) and B) for bringing the Lions back down to Earth.

Don’t hold back, how do you really feel? ;’)

I hate to get all optimistic, when I’ve been through so many letdowns, but this is looking good. The first half of that game I decided I’d hang around to see the Fox halftime report — and BTW, nice job, Fox, for that electronic noise in the feed, which mysteriously disappeared during every single effin’ advert, not so much as an acknowledgement or an apology, which means the network doesn’t give a d@mn about Lions fans — and then drive home, checking the game on the car radio from time to time.

Not one screen in the wholesale club was set to the game. Up yours, Sam’s Club.

Anyway, it’s lookin’ good!

That's OK, in college football the North Dakota State University Bison beat the Minnesota Golden Gophers, too.

Cheers!
