GENERAL PALIN ~ A FORCE OF ONE
TEA Party Tribune ^ | Tuesday, September 6, 2011 | Anthony James

Posted on 09/06/2011 7:50:54 AM PDT by Gargantua

I spend a good deal of time on the FreeRepublic website, America’s premier gathering place for conservative activists. A healthy cross-section of America’s modern day “Minutemen” bivouac here regularly to share and discuss the daily news items which most greatly affect our constitutional Republic.

We were just discussing Sarah Palin’s newest Facebook message regarding Jimmy Hoffa’s disgusting profanity yesterday where he addressed union members with this distinctly un-American reference to The TEA Party: “Let’s take these sons of bitches out!”

It wasn’t that long ago that Democrats including president Obama were calling for a more civil form of discourse throughout our land. What a difference a few weeks makes.

If we weren’t already aware that Liberalism is a mental infirmity, it might cause you to wonder just how many of our “very concerned and compassionate” liberal friends will come out against Mr. Hoffa’s clear call to violence. Well, we know he likely will not be reprimanded by Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D – CA), who recently said, “The TEA Party can go straight to hell! In fact, I’m gonna help ‘em!” How very tolerant and thoughtful… then again, what else should one expect of our brightest and most elite academic congnoscenti, eh?

A couple months ago in my article “Forewarned is Forearmed” I predicted that the all-out assault on The TEA Party was coming, and that the churlish ugliness was going to be appoplectic, historic and unprecedented. Liberal progressives are so predictable, it would be funny if it weren’t so tragic.

One of the Freepers with whom I was discussing Sarah’s current Facebook message made the comment that, once again, Gov. Palin was the first to respond to the ugliness, in this case, from Mr. Hoffa. Here is his comment, and my reply.

FREEPER: “Governor Palin beats the entire d__n GOP to the punch…again.”

A.J.: You’re right… and you’re not. Five will get you ten that most if not all of her “running mates” for the GOP nod won’t touch this with a ten-foot-pole.

Palin alone is the first-responder, the special-ops, human tactical weapon who sprints toward the greatest threat to engage and destroy it, instead of away from the fight… to cower in safety.

She would be the first, except that there won’t be a second. As usual, she stands alone, in the breach, defending all that is good, and worth cherishing, from all that is vile, corrupt and anathema to every single American ideal.

Allow me to qualify that: She stands alone among those who would seek the highest office in the land, but she also stands at the head of the greatest army ever assembled in the history of mankind. The TEA Party represents Sarah Palin’s fighting force, and we outnumber virtually every standing army on earth combined.

Those who would stand against us should proceed advisedly and with justifiable caution. It is our very way of life, and the secure futures of our children for which we gather on this battlefield of ideas. This battle, waged in the hearts and minds of men and women across this great land, will prove that the more the truth of this struggle and its implications are made known to the masses, the larger our numbers will swell.

( End of FreeRepublic.com discussion )

It deserves to be said, and simply cannot be overstated—Sarah Palin and her supporters are among the most viciously assailed individuals in the pantheon of American political discourse. As Andrew Breitbart states so eloquently in the movie “The Undefeated”:

“All one has to do to gain immediate acceptance in Washington DC or New York is to disparage Sarah Palin.” Your credentials as a card-carrying member in good standing of the progressive intelligentsia are immediately established merely by attacking this fine, patriotic, God-fearing woman.

By the same token, all one need do is to express their support for Sarah Palin and they are immediately branded a lunatic; a Kool-Aid drinker; a slobbering partisan, when the fact is that Sarah Palin actually is the single and sole guard at the gate, and the only one most deserving of our lauditory approbado. There is no one else from among those who seek the GOP nomination willing to jump into this fray.

If the other candidates honestly believe that staying out of this fight is somehow going to make them look or seem more presidential, they are sadly mistaken. What America needs right now are more people who not only want to be president, but who actually have the guts (actually spelled with a capital “N”) to face down this despicable, amoral thugocracy.

Luckily what America needs right now America has right now. And we find it in only one place, and in only one person. That she inspires those who still cherish what is right and what is good in this fallen world is not a fault, and it’s nothing to be derided or ridiculed. Within the last century these were still precepts which most Americans held dear. That we, in this devolved and putrefacted day and age still have someone like her to seize the helm and steer this ship of state back onto a course with a heading of individual responsibility, prosperity, and liberty is quite remarkable.

Even this, however, pales in comparison to Palin herself. Then again, so do they all.

All those Freepers that are arguing about the “context” should consider that “Hit them at the ballot box” thing includes Black Pampers at the ballot box thanks to Holder.

Palin as usual, is correct. The rest will as usual, have an excuse for not joining in her condemnation.

They SHOULD have been out there this morning saying it was beyond the pale to threaten average Americans. And they want these peoples votes?!

I'm thinking more than one owes favors for some campaign money and dares not say anything.

Long about 2007 I started sounding the alarm with my hubby. He’s a great guy, but not keyed in. Women tend to key in to the pulse better, sometimes, I think, because God meant for us to be effective nurturers. Anyway, if your other-half is not listening, change the channel, diplomatically. By channel, I mean “life channel” not TV channel. It is the duty as the other-half of a whole to make sure the whole stays healthy, especially if one half is in denial. That’s what love does. Those of us who are keyed in will have to “love” until we are heard and until it hurts to turn this thing around.

They should have been out there yesterday condemning Hoffa. This morning wasn't really soon enough, and after today is too little, too late.

GOP-E? is the E Elites?

Well, slamming Hoffa in public is an easy thing for anyone to do. That doesn’t mean that in the GOP elites own minds, they like the Dem and union thugs doing their dirty work for them.

What I love about her is she doesn’t do the weak “so-and-so needs to apologize”. I just detest it when the elite feigns being offended. It’s nothing more than pandering...they think it makes them appear to care about “the little guy”. I want change, not apologies they don’t mean asked for by people who don’t really give a damn. Sarah just takes it to them.

Exactly. It won’t. There has been a tectonic shift in people’s attitude over the last year already and these idiots are blind to it. That ain’t wishful thinking. Nov. 2010 proved it. It’s the old buggy whip thing. No one wants or needs them, but they kept making them until they went belly up.

The oldschool pols will keep doing the same’ol over and over expecting people will be there just like always until the election/elections send them belly up.

Buggy whip makers blamed the public for their woes. So will/do the pols.

ok, we’ll see.

you might be right.

i tend to think that there are a lot of good people who are her supporters who are going to be let down, big time....and that makes me sad.

yes, many of her supporters, especially here are FR, are condescending, cocky and just mean. but many of them are also good down to earth folks who mean only good for America. and I feel bad that there is a very real possibility that those good folks are going to be let down.

maybe not, though.

we will see, soon enough.....4, 5...maybe 6 weeks at the outside.

Bingo!

Bottom line: Ever see the pic on the web where it’s a dark room, the guy is sitting bloodshot-eyed at the computer had his wife is trying to get him to bed. The caption reads “I CAN’T LEAVE NOW!!! SOMEONE IS WRONG ON THE INTERNET!!!

That’s the thing. People agree with Palin by and large but can’t let go the fact that they were PUBLICLY wrong about her. And their pride threatens to undermine the candidate they agree with because they will not eat crow. They will sabotage themselves rather than type on FR and elsewhere “I was wrong.”

LOL! I have seen that and quoted it recently to my husband. :)

Too often, it seems that some develop a personal and emotional dislike of a candidate, and then look to find something, however irrational, to use as a justification to support that conception.

If you (general comment) thinnk about it, we all do it to one degree or another. Right here on FR, how many of us have gone into the late hours arguing some piece of minutia solely so “we win” the argument, even when we know the other guy/woman makes good points. That same ‘pride’ is the source of the flame wars on the Palin threads and others.

And look at what happens. Take the Bachmann/Rollins issue. Many of us fought ‘to the death’ over her hiring RiINO Rollins, calling it a mistake that would doom her and an active shot at her by the establishment to disrupt her candidacy. She was doing well, then suddenly, she Gaffed non stop, faltered and now miraculously, Rollins, his work here done, steps down, leaving her in dire political straits.

Those same Freepers who went at us tooth and nail are now nowhere to be found on the Palin threads as their PRIDE at having been wrong, will not allow them to admit it or ‘type the words.’

They are mostly good people that Palin needs to win. Many are our online friends. But they won’t admit it and (que Clinton era quote) move on. So the attacks will (eventually) continue, but now it will be spun as “Palin’s fault.

Just watch. It’ll happen. And PRIDE is the reason.

I have no doubt in my mind that it will devolve into a Mexican election complete with violence and military intervention. The Libs will not go back to a Republican President/control.

As for inter-party warfare, the RINO wing will not give up their hold on power. It will have to be basically torn from them. They will go at Palin and any other Conservative with tactics just short of what the libs will pull. This one is for all the marbles. People have been killed, maimed etc. for far less then the prize being played for here. This isn’t just an election, it’s something on par with a revolution since one political philosophy will be utterly devastated by the ultimate outcome.

I say that in honesty and in genuinely fear for the lives of those willing to go up against the entrenched system, intent on changing it. But Our Founders risked the same. There is nothing new under the sun.

America is lost without Palin.

Not to be irritating, but America is lost without God, Palin is just a Christian, speaking as a Christian and holding up Judea-Christian Ideals. While she is wonderful, she is not the answer, America repenting and returning to a Nation under God is the answer. She is just leading the way.

No one in the history in American politics has been told not to run as much as this women.

And when you ask them why Palin and not Romney et all, you get to listen to verbal gymnastics that would win a Gold Medal in the Olympics. Anything but what they really MEAN.

Which is that “We don’t want Conservatives that will take away our power/bennies and stop the great Lib/Gay/Atheistic/communistic agenda from using incrementalisn to erode the resistance of you idiots that we have been using to great success for the last couple decades. 4-8 years of a real conservative in power would reverse that and we might not ever get back in power.”

Um, it is my considered opinion that CD was poking fun at what he perceives as an undue reliance on Palin, but forgot to include a /sarc tag.

And it's not a bad thing to remember the truth about undue reliance on people over God. It is a serious mistake and has led to some of the worst chapters in human history.

However, having said that, it also does us well to remember what we often tout as one of the virtues of America, that we do produce exceptional individuals, some who by God's blessing and grace rise to inspire us to become our better selves, to do more of what God has called us to do, to push back at the evils of our day and become champions for the good. There is no harm in that, and it should not be confused with lesser preoccupations of the mind.

SARAH PALIN TELLS IT LIKE IT IS ON LABOR DAY

"We believe that the government that governs least governs best.

"We believe that it’s the Constitution that’s the perfect blueprint towards making us a more perfect union.

"We believe that America’s finest are men and women in uniform — you are a force for good in this country and for that we don’t apologize.

"We believe that we can’t get out of debt by incurring more debt – and we are telling Washington, my kid is not your ATM.

"We believe we are taxed enough already and that freedom is a God-given right that is worth fighting for.

"Do you ever ask yourself why nothing ever is really REFORMED. They talk about the problems, yet things keep getting worse.

"They talk about the debt problem, and yet they keep incurring more debt. They just gave themselves permission to incur more debt.

"They talk about the spending problem, and yet Obama keeps spending more.

"They talk about an out of control federal government, and yet Obama keeps growing more.

"Well, I say — WE SAY — enough is enough and the message from Tea Party Americans is the status quo is no longer acceptable. We can’t tolerate business as usual.

"We can’t tolerate business as usual because fourteen trillion dollars later we can’t afford business as usual. We need free markets. It’s why the powers that be JUST DO NOT LIKE THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT.

"Bottom line, I believe that God has shed His grace on thee, America, and I’m not gonna squander what it is that we’ve been blessed with."

Amen. And amen.

I have long admired what I knew about Sarah, but it wasn't until I watched "The Undefeated" and heard what Mark Levin had to say about her that I realized the actual depth of this phenom.

Sarah is so sincere, and so deeply lives and breathes exactly what she says, it's almost scarey. It is most certainly humbling.

I guess the most certain illustration of what I'm trying to say is that hundreds of rabid media rottweilers went through three years' worth, 2,500 pages, of Sarah's private emails... and found nothing they could even spin to use against her.

That, to me, is inhuman. That kind of pure ethical comportment is just not human. She was being annihalated by emnemies in Alaska through that 3-year period, and not one cussword for her depraved assailants. On this earth, it has one source, and that is God.

I feel sad for those who haven't the tools necessary to understand this wonder. Truly sad.

Thank you.

America is in a crisis of holding on to our Republic, and we are being regulated, used as pawns by a group in power that are borrowing monies to the max, and essentially siphoning it off with no accountability, ignoring our queries as to where it went ... giving it to foreign nations ...
BRAZIL for goodness sake!!! The ENDANGERED SPECIES ACT SHUTTING DOWN THE USE OF OUR LAND AND PROPERTY. SEIZING OF PUBLIC LANDS And shutting down the use there of.

We must see the BIG picture. TYRANNY is accomplished day by day with edicts, executive orders, and behind the scenes deals to further cause America's decline, all with the blessing of the News medias. We have sat still for it;

ALL THE WHILE THE ENEMY AND THAT IS 'TRUE' IS EXHULTING IN TRIUMPH OVER AMERICA AND HOW DOCILE WE ARE.

“ AMERICA FELL WITHOUT A WHIMPER” aren't these Putin's words when it was headline news ... “ We are Socialist's now?”

We are a nation of laws and those very laws are being perverted to work against America. Law abiding citizens obey the laws. They know that and take full advantage of it.
It is part of our Christian foundations, we desire to forgive and turn the other cheek. It has morphed into something akin to accepting all behaviors no matter what they are.

The memorial services for 9/11 ceremonies IE. NO evangelical ministers are allowed to speak ... only Muslim, Buddhist, and other religious are to offer prayers there.

GOD HELP US, SAVE AMERICA, IN JESUS NAME AMEN. THIS MUST NOT CONTINUE. IT IS THE ROAD TO COMPLETE DISASTER!

Martial LAW is something the President would delight in declaring. Notice! there is no mention of the economy and the numbers of jobless citizens or OBAMA'S HEALTHCARE PLAN, etc....

What the majority of America is noticing is the tip of the iceberg!!! MOO!

Sarah would get to work immediately and put the kibosh on many destructive to America things. MO!
