The fact that you don't recognize that Castle was a fraud from the start is disturbing. He spent the last quarter-century willfully killing off the DE GOP. His final backroom deal was the Democrats allowing him to get Biden's seat and when the time was right, switching parties and stepping down for Beau to take the job. The fact that the national GOP establishment (Rove & Co.) considered O'Donnell to be a bigger threat than Castle or the Communist Democrat ringer shows just how dangerous things have become for Conservatives. Still, she accomplished the goal, she eviscerated Castle, and I applaud her for that. The fact that the leftist/establishment crooks are STILL going after her and maligning her continues to demonstrate she is doing something right.

Back in reality, we know (a) Castle is all about Castle, he wanted the job for himself and could care less about Biden Junior's career, (b) Castle had the example of Jim Jeffords before him as a cautionary tale and Castle - always self-serving - would never have repeated Jeffords' stupid mistake.
