Yeah them 1960s Marxist-Alinsky radicals (psycho spoiled brats) like Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn were active through the '60s and 70s.

Now they are part of the Establishment.

The '20s and 30s were the Prohibition and organized crime heydays. Now they own Chicago and run the White House. :)

My original post said "Generally my thoughts are that because the murder of policemen is on the uptick I do not blame them for being super cautious and unforgiving. We citizens must understand that a policeman is a target always."

I followed up on your point already in a prior reply to another Freeper.

No arguments from me.

Nothing anyone says will cause be to hate and fear policemen, sorry.

I've already acknowledged the obvious: There are a few bad men and women wearing badges and they should be found out and removed from LE.

Actually you need to understand that police officer has one of the lowest death rates of all professions. Ranking about 4th I believe. Their job isn't as dangerous as they would have you believe.

Last time I looked it was 28th, just below landscape gardeners

The problem with police is similar to the problem with teachers: police unions (a relatively recent phenomenon) makes it hard to fire bad cops. Cops with union-thug mentalities would be the worst to have, and the hardest to get rid of. Eventually, they and their attitudes would dominate.

We also have the feds DOJ's "training" programs for local LEOs.

Apparently, the main beater is a former LAPD officer who already has been paid a ton of money after being shot on duty and losing an eye. He must of not dealt well with the trauma of a criminal trying to kill him...he now goes about his job exacting revenge against other suspected criminals. Evil under the cover of the law. All paid for by our tax dollars.

I spoke to a shop owner in the area where Kelly hung out and he said this was the most gentle soul he had ever known. Not on drugs, not on alcohol and this proprietor told me he could have wrestled Thomas easily. He was not a large muscular guy at all. It wouldn’t have taken five men to subdue him. As it is now, businesses are hurting badly from this event.
