Thanks. It’s possible that there could be variations on the form from back in 1961, but that’s impossible to confirm with how they’ve presented the document.
If you saw the picture of it, it looks like some overlay that the COLB lays on. Where the edge of the COLB meets that overlay the pattern goes right onto the COLB with no offset or anything. The background merges right onto the COLB.
How peculiar that the “M” in P.M. on both certificates is well below where it should be, and looks smaller than the other upper case M’s.
I spent a lot of time using a manual typewriter of this vintage, and while you could get an occasional letter out of line this way, usually there was a pattern, high, low, or even every time. The letters NEVER changed size, either—they couldn’t.
The IBM Selectric typewriter was only just being released in 1961. The Certificates of Live Birth were typed using the typewriters with carriages in common use in 1961 and earlier, before the IBM Selectric was introduced in the market in 1961. Compare the typeface/s on the Obama document and Nordyke birth certificates to the other Hawaiian Certificates of Live Birth issued in 1959, when there were no IBM Selectric typewriters.

In case you didn’t see this addressed earlier, the small M on the form is preprinted - all that is required is for either an A or a P to be typed to show time baby was born. The small M wasn’t typed on this form.
The AP was showing the original COLB, which simply had a white background. The green security hash had to have been added by the WH before or when it was converted to PDF.
That begs the question. Do you believe Alvin Onaka is part of the conspiracy to commit fraud about Obama’s BC? How many other officials would have to be involved? Fukino, a Rep appointee?
Look at it this way. How many times have we already seen people ranging from Governor Lingle to governor Abercrombie to Fukino and so many others swear virtually on their mothers' graves that the Certification of Live Birth was THE birth certificate for Obama and THE ONE AND ONLY birth certificate the office was delivering, and the one and only birth certificate the Hawaiian law would allow them to deliver.
In contradiction, we have seen numerous people come forth with photographs proving they had ordered and received the Certificate of Live Birth (long form birth certificate) right up to a few days ago, when the office started refusing such orders to create the false appearance they had done so since 2000/2001.
Obviously, the people saying the former all lied and blatantly and unashamedly so. With such in your face gross dishonesty as that and the past birth certificate fraud reported by the U.S. Government report, the lack of prosecutions, why would any rational person at least suspect the possibility these people are capable of being motivated to commit birth certificate fraud for reasons unknown?

Leave the questoin of intent and motive to the criminal prosecutors. Forget political parties and supposed trustworthiness and authority of individuals. Concentrate on the capacity to commit fraud and the safeguards against such a capacity.
Yes, not only is it possible, it may even be probable. The reasons may not even be predictable, making efforts to divine the reasons futile. This is why transparency is essential to EFECTIVE public oversight of the safeguards against political fraud.
