Of course, it's not a surprising sequence, given the huge historic megathrust that happened at the beginning of it. A lot of huge stuff under the surface is still settling out from over a week ago, and will continue for a while.

You didn't look at the website did you? Even a casual view of the material shows a thousand quakes large enough to shake foundations. They are definately not micro-quakes whatevers. This Earthquake Storm has a thousand quakes off Japan's east coast above 5.0!!!!

I'm certain that feeling those tremblors evey hour or so must be scaring the crap outta the poor people in Northern Japan. No wonder they don't trust their government and are massing at the airports to leave Japan.
