Blizzard Warning in effect from 6am Sunday to 6 PM EST Monday.

The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a Blizzard Warning which is in effect from 6AM Sunday to 6PM EST Monday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

Locations... Northeast New Jersey...New York City and its immediate suburbs...Long Island and coastal and interior southeast Connecticut.

Accumulations 11-16 inches with locally higher amounts possible in heavier snow bands whose exact location is still too early to determine.

They put it up again a few winters ago. It had been in storage somewhere at the UW...on the Taxpayers Dime, of course!

Southern Wisconsin is already 14” ABOVE its ‘Global Warming Allotment’ of snow this winter. Northern WI is even worse off.

Add to that an electric rate hike come 1/1/2011 and gasoline at $3.09 a gallon and rising...and you’ve got some problems on your hands!

We’ve had 100” of snow for each of the past two winters; that’s over 8 FEET of snow for those lurking here from Beloit...

My back can’t take much more of this Global Warming!

Hang in there Diana. I’m sure in the summer we’ll be told the hot and humid weather is going to bring about ‘’global cooling’’. The old ‘’ice age’’ thing again. It’s always about ‘’global’’ something with ‘’the sky is falling ‘’crowd. Merry Christmas.
